High quality any keeps my thumb stable
The interstatial joint of my thumb started hurting recently, so I wanted to stabilize it until I saw my doctor. Once I got the straps around my thumb, the strap around the wrist was easy. Now I remove it by loosening the wrist strap and slide it off and on, leaving the thumb straps in place. I am female with average sized hands and it fits comfortably and supports my thumb. Good design and value.

Excellent quality, support and comfort!
Just want leave a review for anyone that's in pain with trigger thumb. This is an excellent quality and very supportive product. The brace is easy to put on and take off. It can also be adjusted based on how much support is needed or easing up for comfort. I highly recommend it! In fact I would buy another one if needed for backup.

Works well, a bit scratchy inside
I think this will be really helpful once I get used to it. I did see a review that said the inside is a bit scratchy, and that is absolutely the case for me. I ended up ordering a set of glove liners to put underneath it, because I have very sensitive skin. Other than that, it's as comfortable as something can be on a sore part of the body. I'm dealing with significant swelling so it's going to take a while to get more comfortable, but it does a great job of keeping my thumb immobile. I tried another thumb brace previously that came from our local drugstore, and it increased the pain significantly. Our local pharmacies have a very limited selection of thumb braces, and they were much more expensive than the ones on Amazon. This one feels like it's going to be much better than the drugstore brace. The Velcro is very strong and the brace is easy to put on.

Great Thumb and Wrist Support
This product works very well for supporting your thumb and wrist during activities that put extra stress on hands and wrist. This could be exercises like pushups or work activities like splitting and moving firewood. The one thing about work projects is that you will need larger gloves to cover the brace and protect your skin if that is part of the usual workwear.

Ok, but......
Worked well for about 3 weeks, as comfortable as they get, and the metal is adjustable enough. But the velcro is obvious from the lowest bidder; it barely holds after about a month of frequent on/off. (Yes I did wash it.)If you need a short-term brace, that's fine, but if you're talking about heavier use over time, consider buying something else.

Thumbs up!
Fits nicely and securely even if you have small hands like me. It won't let the thumb move in any direction and can be removed and put back on again without any hassles. Helped a lot with my overworked thumb! x

Not a Permanent Solution But Good for Now
I was recently diagnosed with trigger thumb and was told that it could be treated with an injection but that I probably didn’t need one yet. Then the doctor said if left untreated, the thumb could lock in the bent position and that “would be bad.” A couple of days later it started giving me more trouble so I ordered this thumb brace. I wear it during the day and sometimes sleep in it. The brace is comfortable but somewhat awkward to put on. You have to fit the thumb straps around your thumb before wrapping and fastening the wrist strap, then go back and adjust the thumb straps, It doesn’t totally keep my thumb from bending, but it helps. I don’t think this is a permanent solution, but it protects my thumb until I can get back to my doctor. The Velcro is sturdy (sometimes I wish it was less sturdy). After a couple of weeks of daily wear, the brace still looks pretty good. It’s not overly bulky but it does make picking up and holding things like soda cans more difficult. Even so, it’s worth the price.
