This item is clearly listed and illustrated as a "Set of 2". I paid the full price (my bank account shows the full charge), but I received a package with only ONE. The tracking information, the listing in my Amazon account, and the packing slip that came with the half-order all say that the order has been fulfilled/delivered. I cannot find any way to address the issue other than this post ... or returning what I received. But, I want the item! I just want both halves that I paid for.

I love the holding power of these things. I used a couple of these in a fence for my drill press and band saw. The wood I used was just slightly thicker than 3/4 which these are meant for. They didn't hold so well until I realized they were not touching the surface. I routed the top where they mount so the wood was a perfect 3/4 and then they were very powerful which touching the surface of the iron table. My only complaint is that Amazon doesn't force the sellers to list where the products are made. These are Made in China

Claimed to have holding force of 55 pounds. When it arrived it seemed much weaker than that, so I tested it. When attached to a steel filing cabinet it let go with a force of approximately 10 pounds. Similar results on by steel drill press. It's a well made product which may be very useful for some light duty applications, but the specs appear to be inaccurate and the holding power is exaggerated. I would give it 5 stars if the specs were accurate. The seller refunded my money after the product was returned.

I wish I had gotten the MagJig 150s, which are more powerful. I am a woodworker. These 95s work OK if you glue some non-slip material to their bases, like thin cork or rubber sheet. They are very hard to pull upward but jigs and fixtures made with them will slide sideways on cast-iron machine tables- obviously not a good scenario but is somewhat correctable as described above. MagJigs are very versatile and easy to use. I haven't attached them to jigs with screws, but instead have made several types of interchangeable jigs that use these as removable magnets. The on/off is achieved by rotating the knob. If you drill a single round hole into a fixture, the MagJig will rotate in the hole and you have to either hold it with two hands or screw it onto the jig to turn it on/off. But if you drill two slightly offset round holes, the jig won't rotate when you twist it- then you can remove these magnets on & off of various jigs. You can find the scenario for how to do this on youtube.
