Just like the Original Audi Part
I ordered a couple of these to replace the ones in my 2001 Audi TT. I had a fuel gauge that would read 1/4 tank when the car was off and thus, read high and would leave me stranded when I'd run the car out of gas.Replacement was straightforward: Remove the cluster from the car, disassemble the cluster, pop out the old stepper motors and pop these in. No soldering. You will have to remove the needles from your gauges. Use a pair of spoons to do that. You can find some videos online showing how to do that. The hardest part for me was removing the white plastic backing. To get it off, there are four round latches which sit on either side of the speedo/tach steppers that you need to slide to the side while lifting on the white plastic.Once back together, you'll have to calibrate the needles. The speedo and tach needles are easy. Push on the needle, then rotate counter-clockwise a few times and point them to 0. They will work off of that. The fuel/coolant needles are more difficult. What I did was use my automotive scanner (Autel Maxidas) to run the gauge cluster through a test cycle. That sweeps the needles through their intire range and then stops them at the half-way point and holds them there. Then you just push the needles on pointing to the half mark.If you don't have an advance scan tool, you can get there manually. Fill the car up with gas, fully before you do this. It needs to be absolutely full. Put the needles on pointing straight at the left side of the cluster. Push them on only a little bit so they are easy to pop back off. Plug in the cluster, then turn on the ignition. Set the fuel needle so it points at the full line on the cluster. Set the coolant needle so it points about 1/8" to the left of the lowest tick mark. Get the needles in this position, then turn the ignition on and off and see if they go to the correct place. It'll be a bit trial-and-error.The whole process, including removing the cluster, took me about 45 minutes to do. The scan tool really helps.

Fixed Temp and Fuel guages
2002 Audi TT Quatro fuel and temperature gauges were both reading WAY too high (1/2 tank meant empty on the fuel gauge). I re-calibrated the old gauges several times only to have them slowly creep back up to their errant positions. I purchased 2 of these and they took care of the issue. This part fits both gauges. New gauges calibrated using a relatively cheap VAG tool that had a "test actuator" function.

Good Value
Great inexpensive fix for fuel gauge problem. Customer service was great to work with when I had a installation question.

Looks to be excellent quality. I haven’t installed it as of yet because of additional console parts still being shipped.
