Great light bulbs, with somenice functionality
I use Tapo for a number of different things but that is not a prerequisite for these Smart Bulbs. These are simple to install and use with the Tapo app and Alexa (in our case). Their colour and brightness are good to light up an entire lounge room. What I do like is the setting for the bulb to slowly illuminate and dim to switch off, which makes it easy on the eyes too. We have Wi-Fi mesh in this house and these Smart Bulbs connect to it with zero issues. A great price too, compared to some others.

bulb can't connect - not found
the bulbs are not working. the app that should connect to them doesn't find them & there is no way to install them. it appears as this series has run out and i can't turn them on/off at all. save your money & buy other ones.

Most reliable system I have used
Smart bulbs and buttons are great but having used them for 10 years now, they come with a lot of issues.Firstly they lose connection all the time. The reason things like your Ring cameras and Lifx bulbs lose connection is that they're cheap and the WiFi bands that they support are limited. When your router or Mesh Wifi rotates it's bands/frequencies in order to ensure your Wifi is not colliding with nextdoors, if it moves to a band that is unsupported then everything goes offline!!!Secondly the backends of these system just go down or are unreliable. I have found especially with Lifx they just randomly go down, usually when you need them most!Thirdly the reality of smart kit is that you need some way for everyone to be able to use them. For example, are you going to ask your parents in law to download the app, give them admin permissions and to use the app to switch the bathroom light on? No!!!Now I have persevered for years with Lifx and Flic buttons and, the flic buttons run out of power all the time, disconnect and also they're not very robust. Add the crappy Lifx bulbs into the equation and you have a system thats just unreliable. So I recently took advantage of the black frinday deal and replaced everything with Tapo. So far it has been night and day better.Tapo kit is way cheaper than anything else on the market. It has an ever evolving app thats easy to use and intuitive to me and the smart buttons work brilliantly.I have not had 1 outage or issue in 2 months now, where I used to get at least 1 bulb go funky per month for no reason at all!!!!So the bulbs are basic, however they have a very nice temperature to them. The Lifx ones were better in that respect but I almost got all of my bulbs replaced for the price of just 1 Lifx one, so I don't miss the price!!!I have even got a camera hooked up to the little smart hub and I have had literally no hiccups at all.Compared to anything else I have used these are so much better. I am so impressed.

Saves power and very useful
I am very pleased with these bulbs. They are in two outside lights which illuminate the front gate and front door. Linked to the Tapo app and also to Alexa we are able to put them on for a couple of minutes to enable us to leave the house then turn them on remotely just as we arrive home. PIRs don't work in these locations because wildlife constantly set them off

Great value smart bulbs that work flawlessly with Alexa
I’ve been using these bulbs for a few weeks now in our living room lamps and they’ve been excellent. Setup through the Tapo app was quick and straightforward, and they connected to Wi-Fi without any hassle. The dimming function is probably my favourite feature. It’s great being able to adjust the brightness depending on whether we’re watching TV, relaxing in the evening, or just need a bit more light in the room. The warm white colour is also really pleasant and feels much cosier than a standard LED bulb. They work seamlessly with Alexa, so being able to control them with voice commands or routines has been really convenient. So far they’ve been reliable with no dropouts or connectivity issues. For the price, these are a fantastic way to add smart lighting to your home without spending a fortune. I’d happily buy more for other rooms.
