You often see silver or gold flatware, but I feel it's rare to see this black set. It's stunning next to any flatware set. I've run it through the dishwasher multiple times and there is no discoloration. The steak knives are super sharp, great for cutting meat, or accidentally slicing fingers :( (user error) Great sturdy set, highly recommend. UPDATE: 6/6/2025: I am still using these pieces 4 years later. No color has chipped or faded, but I have noticed a discoloration due to dishwasher cleaning. It’s almost like a rainbow discoloration and I’m not mad about it. I still love them to this day and will continue to use them.

I love these especially in the black finish. They hold up fairly well for being well used. I've bought two sets of these to date and will buy these for use as long as they are available. The price point is right.

picked up two of these 48-piece black silverware sets, and they are fantastic. The quality is great — solid stainless steel that feels durable in the hand — and the sleek black finish really makes them stand out on the table. Between the full place settings and the steak knives included, I’m completely covered. Having two sets means I’ve got plenty for family gatherings or when guests come over, and they look sharp enough to impress without being “too fancy.” They clean up easily in the dishwasher and still look brand new after multiple washes. Honestly, for the price and the look, these sets are unbeatable

I again bought these for a hibachi party I had and provided them for the guests lacking chopstick abilities. Lets just say I never need silverware again. I would give these 5 stars but the steak knives are a little cheap feeling and got some rust spots on them after washing. The rest of the utensil set is great though, I like the weight and you have the option of normal spoon size or shovel size for those who prefer the ability to backhoe load food into their mouths!

I loved the look of these,they struck me as classy because of the sleek,black matte instead of the regular silver color,and the price was right. I read some reviews about them rusting or some discoloration, but I figured I'd give them a try to see for myself,and I am so pleased with my decision. Each piece was in its own packaging,so I liked that,and once I had them all unwrapped,I was in awe of just how nice this set is! I hand washed them before use,and didn't notice any discoloration while washing and drying them. This set is everything I was hoping for,they are comfortable to hold,steak knifes are very sharp,and I find the sizes of these are just right! I have read others reviews about bending,discoloration,or rusting and I'm happy to report, I haven't had any of those things happen and I've had my set for about a month. I am so excited to serve my first Thanksgiving dinner with these classy looking utensils. I highly recommend this set,especially at the low price of 20.00.
