Pros: they’re sturdy and rigid just as I’d wanted. They give you the rigidity that wood gives you, without the careful handling. I didn’t realize how awful newer plastic kitchen utensils were until I bought these melamine utensils which were like the long-gone 80s ones my mom gave me when I moved. This spatula has a nice thin edge, the slotted spoon doesn’t bend under the weight of a potato. Another big “pro column” thing for me is these utensils don’t have giant fat handles which take up way too much room if you keep your cooking utensils in a canister next to the stove. These are colorful and space-saving. I’m loving them and will never use horrible nylon composite utensils again. I removed all of those from rotation and they went to the thrift store for redistribution.Cons: The pink color is definitely an 80s “mom” pink. Sort of a rosy puce instead a Mamie pink. Perfect for some so this may be a “pro” column item for you. For me with my 1950s decor it is too muted and Victorian pink. Small, insignificant complaint. But a heads up nonetheless. The utensils are smaller (shorter and more compact) than the actual 80s ones my mom gave me, but I’m happy with their performance and fully recommend them, they’ll last 40 years and I’ll give them to my kid one day for his first kitchen! Lol

The soup spoon is just the right size for serving up chilli and soups. The spatula is on the small size. But its good for turning eggs or hamburgers and when making cookies its good for putting the cookies on a wire rack. The yellow spoon is good also does not retain stains like red sauces. The set came with two spoons. The set is a nice quality.I I like that its safe for my non stick pans. And retains their shiny finish. I love the bright yellow. Its easy to clean.

I really love these in my kitchen. Good stability, lightweight, easy to clean and beautiful color.

Instead of seafoam, which was what we ordered and what the packaging said, we received 4 utensils of a uniform and clearly turquoise hue (though paler and less saturated than the color Reston Lloyd calls turquoise, https://www.amazon.com/Calypso-Reston-Lloyd-Melamine-Turquoise/dp/B001GAQJ4O/ ) rather than anything we'd call green, even seafoam green. It's not unattractive, so rather than fuss with a return we elected to keep the set. The 11-inch utensils seem a bit short, particularly the ladle (which we dip into deep pots) but are perfectly functional just the same.These melamine utensils are SUPER easy to clean, and not flimsy or floppy like silicone utensils we've tried. Indeed, they have only a slight bit of give, which makes us wonder if they might be prone to snapping, but we've had this set for a month now and so far, so good. Overall we're pleased with our purchase, and it would be hard to beat the price without compromising quality.

Very durable

These are our favorite utensils to cook with. They don’t scratch the surface of the pan and they clean up easily. We have purchased them for 2 other couples as well.

Update:Definitely works good for high temperature foods on the stove. Definitely recommend.Beautiful color of blue. Don’t know about the other quality but I’ll update the review if it works for heat-resistant for cooking. Then I’ll update the stars if it’s good. But above all, just what I needed.

These cooking utensils stay solid & sturdy when cooking with hot foods or when used in boiling water. I've noticed other cooking utensils become flexible or flimsy when they start to warm up when cooking. I love the solid feel, the heat doesn't transfer up into the handle & it matches the "Agive Blue" cookware set I have.The only problem I've come across is I dropped 1 utensil from counter height onto the floor and it broke (I'm assuming they're made of a different material other than the basic plastic utensils).
