There's a smell but its not bad - no more moths!
These balls definitely have an odor, but it's a fair trade-off for their effectiveness. I used them in combination with a moth repellent spray in drawers and closets. After a couple weeks, all signs of moths disappeared - no more larvae, holes, or sightings. My wool clothes now stay protected in moth-free drawers thanks to these balls. There is a noticeable smell, but I find it almost reassuring, knowing it means the repellent is working. If you want an odor-producing but truly effective moth deterrent, these work great. No more ruined sweaters!

Used to repel the moths. Does the purpose but I feel the product is expensive for the quantity included in the packet!
