Charleston Chew .65 Oz. Bars, Vanilla, 36-Count Box

Nothing like getting older and finding the oddest things to jog your memory. I drove by the local public pool and remembered they sold Bonomo taffy from the icebox so it cracked when you smacked against any flat surface. This lead me to thinking about Tootsie Rolls and Charleston Chews, mostly because they also change character when cold. Well, the chocolate coating is thinner and not as 'chocolaty' as it was, but the nougat is still thick and it's own texture that I've always loved. It's a bit pricey, but for one good blast from summers passed, it's A-OK.

I wish I liked these less! They are my favorite Candy — I like them even better than Dubai chocolate. Unfortunately, it’s very hard to find individual bars for sale, and it’s dangerous for me to have 24 bars in my house, because I try to watch my weight.

I love Charleston chews candy. They were just as i remember as a child. I was waiting for these, and they didn't disappoint. I got a lot of candy at a great price. I recommend this Charleston chew candy.

Good product but not as advertised! Says vanilla with a splashing pool of white chocolate leading u to believe this is a white chocolate candy bar which I prefer!!!

Good candy but small bars

I've bought these numerous times and although there's no mistaking the incredible taste of a Charleston Chew, I'm convinced these boxes are factory rejects, hence the affordable price. 99% of the time, the chews are difficult to peel off the wrapper due to the sticky marshmallow inner filling being stuck to it. Plus, when I come across one one only halfway full, it only proves my point. It's a minor inconvenience but still aggravating.

Everyone single one in the box is a gross mess! The wrappers are completely stuck to every inch of the chocolate and exposed marshmallow making them completely inedible, unless you want to eat that yellow paper that is used to wrap these individually. This wasn’t an issue of them just getting warm on the truck. I’ve seen that scenario many times and when that happens you just let the chocolate sit in your house/. Instead of each one of these being rectangular/ in shape, which is what they should be, each Charleston chew is a flat and empty feeling package. It’s obvious that these were exposed to extremely hot heat and it took place a while ago, well beyond the time just prior to delivery. That’s why the wrappers are completely plastered and glued to every inch of the chocolate. Seriously, it’s like the wrapper and chocolate are just fused together into one. I tried with a few of them and the outer paper material just keeps ripping and then the rest is stuck to the chocolate and marshmallow that’s a gooey and sticky, unusable mess. Overall, I’m just really disappointed and let down :( Chelation cues are one of my all time favorite sweets from when I was a kid and after adding this product to my sub and save, waiting nearly a month and what shows up is the opposite of what I had hoped for. The fact that these are inedible, I would never purchase these again and at this moment Im working to get my money back.

Delicious but bars are smaller then I thought.

Love these so much I can’t buy them anymore. I ate the whole box with in 48 hrs. Bit pricey for the quantity.

One of my all time favorites, abit pricey but great snack size packets. I will be buying again and again.

Bought as a gift for someone, they had no complaints.

I love Charleston Chews. These are a good snack size but they weren't all as fresh/satisfying as I had hoped. I still prefer the larger Chews, but these were still ok.
