One of the greatest additions i have made to my desk setup
It's one of those things that u don't realise is important but once u buy it ....there's no going back....such a nice light bar at an affordable price. Using it is a breeze. And the colours are really accurate. The blue light mode for watching content....warm white and daylight for study at different times of the day.....the light bar is long enough to light my whole desk.....and the speciality of these things is that the light only ur desk and not the monitor or your face .....eye strain is inexistent when u use this.....although I have a floor lamp right next to my desk but still.......it's one of the greatest investments I have ever made

Great Light Bar, Tricky Clamp Fit – 4 Stars
I’ve been using this monitor screen light for a while now and overall I’m quite happy with it. It does a great job of illuminating my desk without causing glare on the monitor, and the brightness and color temperature levels are comfortable for long work sessions. The slim design also keeps my setup looking clean and minimal. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 mainly because of the adjustment and fitting issues. The clamp doesn’t sit perfectly on my monitor, so I have to keep tweaking the angle to stop it from shifting or creating pressure on the top edge. Once it’s in place it works fine, but the initial setup and occasional readjustment can be a bit annoying. If your monitor has a standard flat back and you don’t mind spending a few extra minutes to get the fit right, this is a very solid light bar that can really improve your workspace lighting.

Good LED light messed by over sensitive touch and bad clip
The light it provides is really good, consistent and eases up constant monitor staring. Two things i dislike which makes this product not at all worthy of buying given the price: 1. The controls (ON/OFF, Light change, brightness change) are touch based. They are so sensitive that i normally spend 5-10 minutes every time i have to start this light or adjust brightness or change color. It is awfully irritating. You just touch it, it will start and then turn off immediately. Once, this light turned automatically on somehow during night when i had woken up to just get water. Scary. I would have been much happy if they gave me simple hard buttons. 2. The clip which is used to hook this light on your monitor is also not designed good. It would work really well for thin flat monitors (monitors which are flat from both back and front). But I have monitor which is flat from front, but not from back (sort of like a triangle). It barely hooks onto it and falls every time it is touched. This product is not at all worth the price.

Bang for the buck
Writing this a week after the purchase, I'm genuinely impressed with this monitor light bar. Having navigated the diverse landscape of monitor light bars across various price points, I can confidently say this one delivers the most bang for your buck, striking an excellent balance between performance and affordability. Before making my purchase, I had a clear set of criteria to ensure I found the perfect lighting solution for my workspace. These were: - Asymmetric Lighting: This is crucial. A good light bar should direct light downwards and forwards onto the desk, illuminating your workspace without shining directly into your eyes or creating distracting glare on the monitor screen itself. - No Monitor Glare: The primary purpose is to light the desk, not to reflect off the screen. Glare significantly reduces eye comfort and visibility. - Flicker-Free, Even Desk Illumination: Consistent, stable lighting is vital for eye health during long working hours. Flickering or uneven light can lead to eye strain and headaches. - No Direct Eye Contact with Light Source: A bright light source at the top of your screen can be incredibly distracting and uncomfortable, defeating the purpose of a comfortable setup. The design should ensure the LEDs are shielded from direct view. - Easy Brightness and Color Adjustments: Quick and intuitive controls for both brightness and color temperature (warm to cool light) are essential for adapting to different tasks and times of day. - Long Lifetime: While hard to assess in the short term, durability is a key factor for any electronic device. - BONUS - Relatively Good Build Quality: For a product that largely sits in the background, robust construction ensures it lasts and doesn't feel flimsy. You don't interact with it constantly, so its presence should be unobtrusive. - BONUS - Easy to Setup and Mount: A straightforward installation process is always appreciated, even if it's a one-time affair. - BONUS - Settings Memory: This is a surprisingly valuable feature. The ability for the light bar to remember your last brightness and color temperature settings after being unplugged and re-plugged saves a lot of hassle and time, avoiding the need to readjust it every single time you power up. The Budget Contenders (Less than ₹2000) My experience with cheaper monitor light bars (typically under ₹2000) has been largely disappointing, primarily due to fundamental design flaws that compromise their effectiveness: - Light Spill onto Monitor: The most significant issue is often the lack of proper asymmetric design, leading to light spilling directly onto the monitor screen. This creates distracting reflections and defeats the purpose of glare-free illumination. - Visible Light Source: Many budget options fail to adequately shield the LEDs, meaning the light source itself is visible while sitting down. This is incredibly distracting, especially if your monitor is placed higher (as mine is, slightly above eye-line). While these might be somewhat acceptable for laptops or setups where monitors are positioned lower, they fall short for typical desktop configurations. - Difficult to Mount: Mounting mechanisms are often limited to basic clamps, which can be awkward, unstable, or incompatible with various monitor thicknesses and shapes. - Lower Build Quality: As expected, the materials and overall construction tend to feel less premium and durable, though this is less critical for a "set it and forget it" product. This Product: The Sweet Spot (₹3000-₹5000 Range) This particular light bar, falling within the ₹3000-₹5000 price bracket, truly stands out as the best in its range. It excels in meeting almost all my primary criteria, offering a premium experience without the premium price tag. Apart from the long-term lifetime (which only time will tell), I am thoroughly satisfied with its performance across all conditions. Key Strengths: - Effective Asymmetric Lighting: It genuinely directs light onto the desk, minimizing glare on the monitor and providing a comfortable, well-lit workspace. - No Distracting Light: The design effectively shields the LEDs, ensuring the light source isn't visible from your seating position, eliminating a major distraction common in cheaper alternatives. - Easy Adjustments: Brightness and color temperature controls are intuitive and responsive, allowing for quick customization using the touch slider. Solid Build Quality: While not ultra-premium, the build quality is more than adequate, feeling sturdy and well-finished. - Settings Memory: This is a fantastic feature! The light bar remembers my last chosen brightness and color temperature, saving me the hassle of readjusting it every time I plug it in. Minor Cons: - LED Brightness Consistency: A very minor observation is that the individual LEDs are not perfectly uniform in brightness. This is barely noticeable in practical use, but worth mentioning for those with an extremely keen eye. - Cable Length: The provided USB-C cable could be a bit longer for more flexible routing options, especially for setups where the USB port is further away. - Magnetic Attachment Piece Availability: It would be a great convenience if the magnetic attachment piece (which secures the light bar to the monitor) were available for separate purchase. This would be useful for users with multiple monitors or if the original piece is ever misplaced. Unexpected Bonuses: - Free Cute Stickers: A small, delightful touch that adds a bit of personality to the unboxing experience. - Built-in Cable Organizing Groove: A thoughtful design detail at the back of the light bar helps keep the power cable neatly tucked away, contributing to a cleaner desk setup. The High-End Experience (₹8000+) For those with a significantly larger budget (₹8000 and above), the high-end monitor light bars offer an even more refined experience, though often with diminishing returns on value: - Superior Even Lighting: These products typically boast extremely uniform LED arrays, resulting in impeccably even lighting across the entire illuminated area. - Much Higher Build Quality: Premium materials and precision engineering are evident, leading to a more luxurious feel and potentially greater longevity. - Seamless Integration and Easy Installation: Brands like BenQ, for instance, offer light bars that integrate seamlessly into their monitor ecosystems. If you already own a BenQ monitor, adding their light bar or webcam becomes an incredibly smooth, almost plug-and-play experience. - Wireless Control Puck: A common feature in this segment is a dedicated wireless puck to control brightness, color temperature, and sometimes even color modes. This offers unparalleled convenience and a sleek, uncluttered desk. - Advanced LED Technology: These often feature more advanced LED technology, providing richer colors and even better light distribution. - Reliable Memory Function: The memory function for settings is robust and consistently works as expected. Conclusion For anyone seeking a high-quality monitor light bar that delivers on its promises without breaking the bank, this product in the ₹3000-₹5000 range is an outstanding choice. It successfully addresses the critical issues found in cheaper alternatives and provides most of the essential features of high-end models. While the premium options offer a touch more polish and convenience, this light bar provides an exceptional user experience that makes it the clear winner for value in its category.

The best budget monitor light bar with asynchronous light.
Short Review: This is the best ₹4000 you would spend on productivity and gaming setup. Go for it blind folded. Choose between iWok 2 and iWok 3 with respect to the compatibility with your monitor. iWok 3 has better functionality but is hectic to install. iWok 2 is the safest option irrespective of the type of monitor as it just sits on monitor without any clamping mechanism. Price Bought at: ₹3797 VFM? Hell yeah. I am using both iWok 2 and iWok 3 and I would prefer iWok 2 any day for its easy setup. Long review: I spend at least 10 hours a day at my desk and I badly needed a desk light so I don't have to risk my eyes working in the dark in the nights. Under 4k, Baseus is the only brand that offers asymmetric light pattern that is in fact great for eyes for long work or gaming sessions. I have tried inexpensive options and that cleared the doubt for me that asymmetric lighting from tried and tested brands is definitely a great investment. Pros: Easy setup. All it takes is resting the light on monitor, routing the USB cable, plugging in and done. Supports wide range of monitors of different sizes and shapes. Brightness and color temperature adjustments are great. It takes some time to get used to the step-less touch controls. Asynchronous lighting pattern is a game changer. Only illuminates certain area and the range of motion for adjustments is near perfect. I am so relieved that I don't have to worry about disturbing my sleeping wife with light on. This light illuminates just the table and keeps other parts of room away from illumination. The halo light adds depth to the monitor creating a cozy environment. I am loving it from day one, while I am writing this review after 3 months of every day use. It looks sleek and holds on to monitor well. It is as wide as a 24inch monitor, thus gives even light pattern with almost no shadow zones on screen. The weight distribution is really good that we don't have to worry about it falling for tiny movements in the desk or monitor. Cons: Not really a con, but be mindful while moving the monitor on monitor arms as cable length can pull it down as there is no adhesive to keep it in place. If you use it on monitor's default stand, you don't have to worry a bit. Note: Thank you for reading through the whole review. I hope my review was helpful in making a purchase decision. I would appreciate if you can acknowledge by clicking helpful button if I was helpful with this review in any way. Verdict: If you spend good amount of time at your desk especially at night, this is a must have accessory. You won't regret getting this. There are no other options that give asymmetric lighting under ₹4000. I would definitely recommend this over inexpensive options that fails to deliver what they promise. Buy this now and thank me later.

Go for it
I initially hesitated to purchase this product, but after watching YouTube videos and reading reviews, I decided to go for it, especially since it’s budget-friendly and lightweight. The quality is impressive—no one would guess it’s a low-cost item. Additionally, it comes with a one-year warranty. It offers two light colors: warm and cool, and you can easily adjust the intensity. There’s also a touch-sensitive on/off button, which is convenient. The only drawback I found is that the holder width isn’t tight enough for my LG 4K monitor, so it doesn't hold it as securely as I would like. Despite this, I still believe it’s a great product, and I would recommend it.
