KONG Cozie Ali Alligator XL

I bought Marvin the Moose for an extreme chewer. I had already bought all the "can't be chewed up toys" lots of money. Marvin the Moose brother to Ali the Alligator. He loved Marvin carried him around,slept on him. But did NOT chew him up. Chewed on him but no destructive chewing. I checked Marvin daily for any damage NONE So I purchased ALI the alligator, he loves both of them. Great toys. Note I ordered XL , this dog will chew up steel an eat it. Very pleased.

From the bright green colored material to the squeakers they can't get enough of it. I must say, if your dog is a heavy chewer, it won't last long and keep an eye on the fillings or ripped pieces (like with all toys). Oh, if you get a big size, it's perfect for them to "go to town" with instead of your pillows lol

My dog (Erebus) absolutely loves this toy. He is a 1 1/2 year old lab (75lbs) and usually destroys any stuffed toy within a few hours, but he is far more gentle with Gator and brings him everywhere he goes.I work from home and Erebus brings Gator out when he first wakes up, naps with it while I work, and takes it to bed with him. I have to take it away from him when he goes outside so it doesn't get muddy and dirty.Even though he is more careful with this toy, it still gets plenty of play. We got the first as a Christmas present and nearly 4 months later (daily toss & fetch) still doesn't have a single tear. The squeaker JUST broke last week, so I bought two more as backups (he still loves the old one without the squeaker), nervous they might be discontinued.This toy is high quality, feels durable, and has a stronger fabric than most, but isn't indestructible. I think most medium-large sized dogs would get plenty of use out of this, but if your pup is known for aggressively shredding toys this /might/ not be the one for you.

Not for heavy chewers. My pit mix chewed through one eyeball and ripped out the squeaker and chewe through it in a matter of a few days! Left stuffing debris everywhere! Do not recommend!

Love that my dog loves him like a buddy, started with the small version just to see. Loves big one just as much, Easter bunny brought the xl. Design flaw I'm noticing is the eyes are up. Weak spot. We grab eyes till we get stuffing and keep going. I think if the eyes were not elevated as a bite point, the toy would be stronger over all. 2 gators, same damage

This gator is the largest of its kind I can find and not the most durable, but it is my dogs favorite. This pic is the new on just received and his newest OLD one. First he chews the tail off, usually week one, then a whole in the tummy and there goes the stuffing inside. As far as the actually gator hide is extremely durable. You can play loads of tug of war with it! Why do I keep buying you ask. The excitement on his face when he sees it in the store or pulled out of the box. :)
