Love this product but in most instances I have to hold the 2 pieces together to have enough width for the item being sliced. Not difficult but other brands only come with 1 so you would be disappointed with another brand! Need a 10 inch wide!

Never was able to get thin slices on my tomatoes or onions. No more. Works exactly as described. Now my tomato slices go farther drizzled with balsamic, extra virgin olive oil and topped with basil, mozzarella and condiments.

There are some tools every kitchen needs. Many years ago I bought one of these for a visually impaired granddaughter. I realized I needed one more than she did.

I purchased this item to help prep for my annual July 4th party. It was very sharp and went right into the onions and tomatoes. I like how it helps you to make the slices allthe same.

The tynes are sturdy and sharp. I purchased this to "puncture" fruits for dehydrating, but I've found many additional uses.
