it was super warm when you put it in the microwave. it was a present from me to me for easter. it did provide pain relief to my back when I lay down on it. it stayed warm for about 20 minutes. it has a nice weight and it's beautifully made.its about the size of my hand to my elbow. good smelling lavender. follow the directions though for heating it up.

I got this Warmies sea turtle on January 5 2024 and have slept with it pretty much every night since. The weight and heat are soothing and the fluffy texture of the body and limbs is wonderful! I already had a Warmies alligator (which I still use), but I got Shelby because I wanted something with concentrated weight. I have terrible period pains and have found that this does a good job of helping to ease them. I like to heat mine up for 70 seconds so it's pretty hot when it comes out of the microwave, but the heat lasts for quite a while and it's easy for me to heat it up again once it does cool down. Sometimes if I need a higher heat I'll put Shelby on top of my heat pad and let the weight keep the heat exactly where I need it. I find the scent to be pleasant, though I will say that I can usually smell the flax a bit more than the lavender. After half a year of continuous use I can safely say my Warmies sea turtle has held up well with no damage. The only change has been the fluff flattening out a bit on the belly, which should be expected. As someone with circulatory issues who suffers during colder months and gets plenty of use out of Shelby even when it's hot, I'm really really happy with my purchase!

Great turtle and is bigger then I thought, Looks great and works well, gets nice and warm and worth every penny. Would definitely recommend if your kid is into turtles

We bought this for my son to give to his grandmother. She is widowed. We liked the idea that she can warm it up and sleep with it. It’s very soft. It has a light aroma therapy scent - mostly lavender. It’s got a little weight to it but I wouldn’t really consider it weighted. She loved it. I can see it as a good gift to comfort a sick child as well.

Cute and perfect weight to use after heating

The first one we bought was an aligator for my first son and he loved it so much that we decided to get this turtle for our second child. It’s SO cute! It was bigger than him in the beginning. He sleeps with it every single night and nap time. He’s always cuddling and holding onto it all night. It smells nice too (lavender) we actually don’t even warm it up every time.I give it 4 stars because this particular warmie has a couple of hard spots. It feels like I can get them out but I can’t. Almost like there is a little stick inside. I’m not sure if they are all like that or not. It didn’t bother my child so I guess it’s in the perfect spot not to bug him. The top of the turtle is super soft by the way.

Bought several warmies for our grandchildren. So adorable and i believe they’ll be well loved and used often!

These are the best! We warm it up every night and put it in our son’s bassinet to warm it up before we lay him down. We even use it in the car seat! He wasn’t a fan of the car but the weight calms him! We LOVE warmies!
