This model is so affordable that I was able to purchase the Ring adapter, pay for local installation, and cover the yearly cloud subscription. Now, I no longer have to worry about recharging batteries, and I can answer deliveries even when I’m not at home. This was the main reason for my purchase, and it still fits within my budget. Update after 3 years: The device is still functioning perfectly without any issues. Here is the breakdown of the costs I incurred: Device cost: AED 199 at the time of purchase. Ring Plug-In Adapter (2nd Gen): AED 99 at the time of purchase. Installation (including removing the old doorbell, covering the old hole with a blanking plate, fixing the new Ring Doorbell, creating a new power socket on the opposite side of the wall inside the room, and wiring the adapter through the wall to power the Ring Doorbell): AED 210. The job was done neatly and nicely. Yearly cloud subscription: AED 152.53 as of this year. In total, I spent AED 660.53, which is very reasonable considering the benefits. Over the past three years, I have never missed a single delivery, I am able to identify who rings my doorbell and can review video clips of visitors and passersby from the past three months through the app, answer the door when I was in vacation.

The price and what it offers is great. Keep in mind that you need any power plug (like the ones you get if you bought a printer, router, or other electronic devices). Then cut the cable from the other side and link it to the ring device.

I recently purchased this product, and my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. From the outset, the sound quality was subpar—distorted and muffled, far from what you’d expect from a premium device. If you're someone who expecting a clear audio, this product will leave you frustrated. The video quality, though slightly better, is still only average, with grainy visuals that don't do justice to the content you're trying to capture or view, or stay frozen still on one single frame. The most infuriating issue, however, is the poor performance during streaming. Whether I was streaming audio or video, or trying to do both simultaneously, the connection was frequently interrupted. This inconsistency made it nearly impossible to rely on the product for anything important, as the interruptions were so frequent and disruptive. But what truly elevates my frustration to an entirely new level is the company's handling of their trial period and the cloud storage feature. They fail to adequately inform users that if you do not subscribe to their premium service before the trial period ends, you not only lose access to your videos stored in the cloud, but they are permanently deleted. This is an outrageous action, and the company justifies it by citing privacy concerns. What's even more infuriating is that they don't proactively communicate this point as a critical information to users. Instead, they bury it in the fine print of their policy, expecting users to sift through every line on their website. This lack of communicating important information transparently is unacceptable, especially for a service marketed as premium. A simple notification or clear warning that content will be deleted instead of the trial will be over at the time of registration could have prevented this. The consequences of this negligent approach were devastating for us—we lost important videos and irreplaceable evidence with no way to recover them. It's hard to believe that a company would charge for a premium service but provide such poor communication and customer service. Their approach is not only irresponsible but also feels like a deliberate "I Don't Care" to us users. If you're considering purchasing this product, think twice. The poor quality, unreliable performance, and atrocious customer service make it an expensive and regrettable choice. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this brand altogether. Extreme disappointment!!!!

Not built for the region. All doorbells here have a switch with 240 volts (standard l), this doorbell operates between 8-24AC . Installation wont be straight forward unless you buy an adapter and connect a cable to the doorbell which is very destructive. I had to workaround the problem by stuffing a 24Volts DC adapter inside the doorbell’s switch hole. At first used 12volts was very unstable and wold suddenly stop. Today I moved to a 24V DC adapter and I hope it works. In short, if you don’t have good knowledge of electrical wiring bring an electrician or get something with a battery. Another issue with this doorbell is for apartments it will always be in night-vision mode, everything in black and white and blurred as it requires more light to run in color (I’ve seen many people waiting for a firmware update to fix this but it never came). Overall. 2 stars is more than enough

An excellent and well knowledgeable Amazon customer care executive called me and went through a lot of trouble shooting and fixed all the problems related to the product. And my unit is working as expected. It's a subscription based doorbell. Which means after your 30 days you will not be able to see any past recordings. And I was hoping it to connect with my Echo Dot for chime. It's keeps showing error "Something went Wrong". They have the worst customer service who will not help trouble shoot on chat and asking to call an international number.

الجرس طبعا افضل من اي جرس اخر بالسوق رينج معروفة طبعا العيب الوحيد هو يحتاج اشتراك بعد شهر من التجربة المجانية بعدها ما يسجل لك الفيديوهات لكن باقي الخدمات تعمل عادي انصح فية الفديو واضح جدا بالتصوير والحركة والتحدث مع الضيف في غياب ممتاز وواضح الصوت
