And eventually, a gang of eight friends now on their expedition to find the Book of Power to re-alive their ninth companion. A thoughtful story with a humorous touch. I didn’t expect that I would enjoy this book so much. Truly recommended. Though the book has its flaws as well... it will mostly suit the teenage readers and youths.

This is a wonderful story that creates a world in the imagination and compels the readers to live in the same. Eight children go on their search for the book of power in the hope that it could help them in bringing their dead friend Gopal back to life. Shall it happen? Can a book bring the dead back? Between death and life, there is so much that these children do and you will like reading it. The language is very simple and the novel is full of thrilling experiences that the young readers will appreciate.

A blend of history and mythology that brings a series of events to a fitting conclusion. The story is narrated in a manner that makes it not only engaging but amusing too. This was so much more than I have expected. I really enjoyed it. The story and theme is are marvellous but the language could have been more impactful at some points... still, this is worth a read.

The book took me to a thrilling expedition that connects the history with the present time and makes me revive the real, though forgotten, treasure - of True Friendship – which we all possess. A light-hearted fictional setup with full of thrills and chills that could be even better with a more-suited narrative.

would love to recommend this novel to the readers who are into reading contemporary, thrilling, exciting and fantasy fiction titles. Anand's novel is a blend of imagination and compulsive plot. A little weak at storytelling techniques but the novel will be a very unique experience.

I enjoyed reading this book... after the flashback is over and the world we reach for the plot to execute is modern, contemporary and very ours, the novel becomes too communicative and we are all engaged with the script. Full of magic, risks, ancient technologies and futuristic inventions, the novel will be a scaling fantasy thriller that does not let the readers rest unless its over... however, the characters might disappoint other than 3-4 major ones. That might be ignored as you enjoy it all the way.

This novel is ideal for kids and youths who love reading Fantasyland novels. However, the underlying theme is very seriously designed by the novelist. He has used his imagination in the ground ancient Indian history and used the advanced version of science that have been mentioned in our scriptures to add special enhancements to this novel's overall drive. I loved the concept and the idea.

The novelist introduces the idea that Ashoka created a secret society of 9 persons and asked them to pursue the knowledge of various fantastic prowess – flying vehicles, time-traveling, gravity-defying, alien communication, etc... Overall, a must-read for the readers of fiction. It will make you excited. I look forward to reading more by this author. This book is definitely recommended by me.
