What is Intellectual History? (What is History)

The core text of this book is only about 100 ( very short) pages. Good intro, but by no means comprehensive.

An excellent overview of the history of ideas and how historians approach this facet of history. Very informative and helpful for my own PhD studies and the approach I wish to take. Definitely fed the intellectual wolf in me and my desire to peel back the ideas which have informed the development of ideas in history

Anche se l'autore si anticipa discendo che no, la verità è che per lui, a grosso modo, storia intellettuale e la scuola di Cambridge (Skinner) sono una e la stessa cosa. Aspettavo un approccio più complessivo dagli altri modi di fare storia intellettuale. Questa è una recensione soggettiva ovviamente. In modo oggettivo posso dire che la edizione è buona, di quelle economiche. Il libro è corto (100 pagine senza riferimenti). E che me è arrivato in tempo.
