As long as you can fit the pork inside the close and cut with none spilling over the sides, it should allow you to cut thin slices.

Hello, this doesn’t cut. It hold food I place so you can slice it in half easier with your knife. Things like bagels, chicken breast.

No it does not come with a knife. You can use any knife with it, as long as the blade is long enough reach from one side of the Close & Cut to the other. It works very well. We love ours.
