Believe Me It’s Good – Amazon Find Edition We installed the TORCHSTAR LED Safe Lighting Kit in a closet instead of a safe and it worked great. The kit comes with 6 linkable LED light bars and a motion sensor so the lights automatically turn on when the door opens. Installation was simple and took about 10 minutes using the included double-sided tape. The kit also includes screws if you want a more permanent installation. The cables between lights were more than long enough and allowed us to run them almost a foot from the floor. The main power cord is roughly 4 feet long and we actually had extra length that needed to be coiled up. In our case we installed an outlet in the closet because we plan to place our WiFi router in there, so plugging it in was easy. The motion sensor is very sensitive — even a shadow can trigger it — so opening the door activates the lights instantly every time. The brightness is more than enough to fully light the entire closet as shown in the photo. Pros: • Very bright LED lights • Motion sensor works instantly • Plenty of cable length between lights • Multiple mounting options (adhesive or screws) Cons: • No cable management included for the wires (no zip ties or clips) Overall this kit works great and would be useful not only for safes but also closets, cabinets, or other dark spaces.

The TORCHSTAR LED Safe Lighting Kit worked perfectly for my safe. Installation was simple, and the lights are bright enough to clearly see everything inside, even in the corners. The motion sensor is very responsive and makes it super convenient to access my safe at night. The quality feels solid, and it really upgraded the usability of my safe. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add lighting to theirs.

I have these in all three safes as well as every closet in the house. The low voltage / no heat nature of the lights along with the motion sensor to turn them on make them ideal closet lighting. These kits are as close to perfect as I could imagine. Easy to install, inexpensive, reliable, low voltage, and no fire hazard from light bulb heat. What's not to love?

I ordered these lights to install into my Liberty Colonial 50 Extreme, a rather large safe. I love Liberty, however, their light selection is lacking at best. The safe is quality and I didn't want to install some battery operated, rinky sink light system inside making the whole thing appear tacky. So after doing some research, reading forums, and several reviews, I landed on these Torchstar LEDs. These lights are awesome. I checked them all when they arrived to make sure they worked and then installed them a couple days later. The 3M on the back won't stick to felt, so I left the backing on them and bought some small screws from Lowe's (.5in #6 screws) to mount the lights securely. Using the screws worked perfect and held the lights snug. I have a 36in Goldenrod in the bottom of my safe so I was unable to place any there, but that really hasn't had an impact. I placed 2 along the right side (stemming from the electric source), 2 along the top, and 2 down the left side. The extensions are perfect. I didn't need any for the top so I doubled up on the right side to give me room to run the cord away from the hinges. The cords, of course, are stiff from being in the box so they just hung there all about. So I bought some t-pins from Walmart (office supply section, near paperclips) and used those to run the wires how I wanted them to give a more finished and clean look. I had to run the t-pins at a slight angle because they're too long to go in perfectly straight. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out and these lights make all the difference. Easily installed and not so many wires that it becomes frustrating. They're bright, crisp, and perfect for gun safes.

This lights are great, and well thought out, They install very easy, each light has a 3M tape the installs a velcro strip. The lights then simply attach to carpeted safe interior. They give you plenty of wire attachment allowing maximum flexibility. The lights are bright, and include a motion sensor that works great. It’s a must buy. FYI I am 70 and not to good at installing some thing but this o e was easy

Installed rather straightforward. If you have some common sense it's rather simple figuring it out. Instructions are very minimal. But It works Negatives: 1) my shelves are exactly the width of the light strips. The only screw points are on the end of the strips. So my attachment points/screw holes sit in the gap between the shelf and the vertical supports/shelf clips. So I'm going to need to find some other way to attach it. The lights are quarter rd not flat. With the two outer edges of the light having peel and stick tape. As my shelves are carpeted the peel and stick tape is not helpful. The tape is also visible. Since you have one edge exposed. Wish they would provide the tape (or better yet velcro), but you add it yourself if you desire it rather than have it preinstalled. 2) the motion sensor works. But not immediately. It may be where I located it in my safe. But it doesn't really state where the sensor has the greatest sensitivity wise. Vertical, horizontal, straight on etc. May play around with it. When I work out exactly how I want things laid out 3)cable management. You are on your own. I like things clean, tidy and out of the way. It's up to you to source cable clips etc, deal with extra cable. Wish you could trim to fit and reinstall connectors. May end up doing plastic cable mold. 4) provided screws. Tried using them. Found them very difficult to start in carpet wrapped plywood. They are tiny. Like #4×3/4" with a #1 Phillips head and non magnetic. Found them very difficult to use with a #2 bit and drill. They would constantly misalign and fall when I tried to start them in my vertical support. Upgraded to #6×3/4 with #2 head. I was pleasantly surprised with this kit. For the money anyways. These flaws in my mind should be expected. The leds are bright. It works. Not a lot to figure out installation wise. I personally read reviews to source flaws so I know what to expect, so these are flaws I have discovered. I would recommend this kit with the flaws stated.

Purchased these for my new safe. Installation was easy and the wiring connections make for a clean install. I like the three light color settings and using the middle setting accents the interior very well. There are three ways to mount, included double sided tape, included Velcro-like hook and loop strips that cling to the carpeted interior or with the included screws. These would also work well for under cabinet accent lights or as closet lighting. The only drawback that some people may find is the only ways to turn on is by turning the power outlet on/off or by using the included motion sensor. The motion sensor is perfect for my application, however, an optional on/off switch box with pre-wired connectors would be nice to have.

This works perfectly in my gun safe. Easy to install. Come on as soon as I open the door.
