Xbox Elite Gears of War 4 Limited Edition Wireless Controller

The ones sold as used here are usually renewed or used ones without the original box, the serial paper inside the battery has been removed as well. I ordered two so that I can keep my OEM one inside the box and use the used ones here as a daily controller

This controller is amazing looking and feeling. If youre a big fan of the series and looking forward to playing the new "E-day" coming soon, get this out of production controller while you can. Comes with everything you need to keep it preserved and maintained.

Barely 6 months in. Back paddles going out. Left bumper actually falling out of socket. Triggers aren't responsive. Will never purchase an elite controller ever again. And warranty process is a huge headache, actually unable to do it because it says my controller does not exist! Microsoft you are crap. Never had any issues with any other controller from any other console in my 15 years of playing video games. I am a huge gamer! I play daily probably alot less now than I use to and this $400 controller starts failing on me so soon. Will not recommend, better off buying a standard controller!

At first, I was skeptical. However, with Amazon's return guarantee I figured I would try it and it worked out great! I love it!

Amazing controller, but the L/R bumpers have broken twice in 4 months! If you go through Microsoft repair/replacement warranty they tell you that you *might* get the GoW4 controller as a replacement, but you might get the black/silver (basic) elite controller as a replacement, which means the warranty is pointless. You can get replacement L/R bumpers with the tools to take the controller apart yourself for like $10. Unfortunately you'll be replacing the bumpers from the painted GoW4 to standard black, but that's better than Microsoft trading your custom controller out for a basic one!! They should have made the bumpers out of metal, not cheap plastic that easily breaks. :(

I didn't buy this on Amazon, I got it directly from Microsoft for $200 instead of the scalper prices. The elite controllers feel great, they have more weight to them than standard xbox one controllers and you can swap out the thumb sticks with the extended ones which are more comfortable to me. Problem is these elite controllers are not built to last. I have a regular black one, which the right bumper started sticking on. I also have the Gears 4 one, and the "B" button started sticking on that after 6 months of use. This is unacceptable for a controller that costs $200. I almost went and bought another elite for $140, but decided against spending all that money on something that I might get 6 months out of before a random button starts sticking. They do feel like they are better made than a standard controller, but the fact that a button was sticking within 6 months of me getting 2 different versions is a huge red flag. I am now back to using a regular controller again after dropping $350 on 2 different elite controllers and having them both fail within 6 months, they just are not worth the money. I read many other reviews where people had the exact same problems, with buttons sticking. Also, don't let worthless scalpers rip you off. This released at $200 six months ago, and scalpers are selling it for $600 now. You can buy 4 regular elite controllers for that price, with cash to spare. There are also sites that do custom elite controllers for $200-300 and some of their designs are pretty sweet, so I think you could get multiple elite controllers for the price that these greedy sellers are selling this one for. Be smart with your money, people, unless you just love Gears of War and are so rich that you have money to throw away..

Great looking controller but bumpers are already needing to be replaced due to a sensor going out. Two months old, kind of expected better for the $200 spent on it. Oh well. Still works just isn't the same.

Bought this for my boyfriend and he is absolutely inlove with it. He loves the small detailing as well as the rubber backing and the customization on it. I don't think he'll go back to using a normal xbox controller after this! He's also a huge Gears fan. Totally worth it!
