I modified it so the platform would stay out of the water since the screwable posts don’t really keep it high enough but other than that it is a good price for what you get. My slidder seems to be enjoying it

I'm so glad I purchased this cute basking platform for my turtle. It was so easy to assemble and it was the perfect size for my aquarium. I think my turtle likes it as well!

This basking dock arrived smaller then expected. I just up graded to a 40 gallon breeder for my two, now one year old RES, this dock was a no. No... I purchased the larger size from the pet store for the corner of my tank. My turtles turned everything upside down in the tank including this basking dock. I spent an hour digging in the tank to find the rubber suction cup for the leg. The next time I had to empty out the whole tank, rocks and all to find the suction cups. A true headache. I also noticed that the bottom of my turtles were never dry, as the dock floats down to the water level. Solution: I placed two plastic zip ties under each leg to make the platform stabble. This now stops the basking dock from sinking down and getting submerged in waster. The ramp still remains in the water so you turtles can gain access. The ramp must be snapped into the slot provided to stay on. If you just hook it over the grove it is not secure. Secure the ramp so that it does not fall into the water every time your turtle attempts to us it. I had to figure it out so that my turtles don't wind up with soft shell. Soon I plan to build an above tank basking dock out of egg crate. So all in all this dock is a temporary fix for now. May be great for hatchlings.

It was great for a while and looks super cute in turtle tank. But it’s WAY too hard to clean. The suctions do not hold well and the height is terrible for anything bigger than 10 gal tank. It’s alright.

Soy turtle just now became big enough to try this. He will stay on it if I place him there but refuses to get on it on his on and I know he can because he climbs the rock I have in there which is taller. He actually liked to be under it. Also it does float if you put a lot of water in the tank. So After taking some it it still rarely stays in place plus its wobbly w the suction cups. Still not sure how I feel bout it but will update if he gets on. Also ordered some else to try
