I am very satisfied with the HP notebook. The only thing to mention, is that the operating system from the factory is Windows Home 10S. Most users would probably want to reset it to the regular Windows 10 Home when you first set it up. It's not hard to do and Windows 10S is very restrictive.

I love the screen size of this laptop, its not too big or too small. I like the silver finish and sleek look of the laptop. Its very thin and portable. The only thing that may need improvement is the the sign in screen sometimes it acts funny. It could be that I just need to be more patient when first setting up to use it each day. When you use the camera in a well lit area pics come out great but if the area is not well lit pics will come out grainy. Other than that I enjoy using it everyday.

In Jan of this year we bought the HP 15DW laptop with windows 10. When it arrived it turned out to be Windows 11. I transferred much of my old laptop to this one even upgraded the ram and although I did not want or like Win 11 we kept it. Then about a month ago it crashed and for no apparent reason, it was encrypted by bitlocker. I had to code to unlock it stored on MS but the laptop would not let me type it in to unlock it. So I had to restore it and start all over reloading programs in. Then it happened again and again I had to start all over. Tonight I went on one of the HP’s sites where it identifies the product. I went to SYSTEMS on the laptop and entered the numbers shown for my computer but the site would not take them. So then I got the numbers off the original box it came in and the site did take them. So it seems like there has been some hanky panky going on here, not only did I not get what I ordered but it seems the laptop was removed from the box and changed plus possibly upgraded to Win 11. Interesting there was a small label hiding info and it showed what had been ordered as an HP 15DW but it also said Win 10. It now appears to me that I did not receive a new laptop or at least one that was altered. I will pursue this further. Laptop= LAPTOP-KSO4PKLR Box= DY-2791WM. Box says both Win 10 and 11. Although I did not post it here the serial #'s are different also.

This is a very affordable and capable laptop... It's extremely fast for all my office software as well as high end gaming-and if you're going to do a lot of gaming I would suggest getting a 500 gb SSD and a good cooling fan. Also I'm using Amicool CD/DVD player ($28.00) and MS Player software ($15.00) and ThermoTake Cooling Pad CL-N004-PL20BL-A $25.00...

I like it

I love my laptop. It’s lightweight to me compared to my previous laptop that was heavy and a hassle to travel with. Came with Windows 11. It’s good for the everyday person who just needs to do basic tasks. I won’t recommend if you do heavy duty computer work.
