My new favorite travel companion!
First of all, I just LOVE the brown color. it's gorgeous. The other colors are probably nice too, but I think mine's the best :)For anyone debating on what size to get: The 16 OZ is perfect for filling up with coffee or hot tea to sip on all morning and it will be just as hot as it was when I first poured it in. I like that it fits perfectly into my car cup holder as well as "water bottle sections" for hiking bags. Not too big, not too small. The screw-on top is perfect for people like me who don't like drinking hot liquid out of a spout. AND although this may not be its intended use, I can even put soup/broth in it and sip on it (Note, the mug is slender enough to fit in a car cup holder so I won't pour any chunky/hearty soup in that I need to eat with a fork or spoon).Best Part: SO EASY TO CLEAN. I've received some travel mugs as gifts in the past that look cute and work well, but I end up using for cold water only because the cleaning process is cumbersome. This one is super easy to clean, I can use it for coffee, soup, and I don't mind washing it at all.

YOU NEED TO GET ONE OF THESE!!!
I heated up some bone broth on the stove at 9 am to take with me for a day at the park, and poured it in to my new Tiger Insulated Travel Mug. I accidentally left the mug at home. When I returned at 10 pm, I opened the mug and the broth was still steaming hot. Like, too hot to drink. I had to leave the lid off to let it cool! Keeping liquid piping hot for 13 hours is priceless to me - it would likely have stayed hot for several hours after that. I also love how the lid squeaks when I tighten it. It doesn't screech and clang like the cheaper stainless steel bottles. I'm really sensitive to sound so this is important to me. I love my bottle so much that I just ordered the 11oz one in pink for my daughter, so she can keep milk or juice all day at the sitter's without it going off. I also ordered the 8 oz food jar in chocolate mint blue. These products are amazing and worth every penny!

No fuss and keeps my water cold.
I am a big fan of Tiger products. When I bought this travel mug, I accidentally left it in the car when I went shopping on July 4th sale in an outlet. It was freaking hot and when I came back 5 hours later, I found that, despite it being under sunlight, the water was still cold. There's also no fuss when cleaning it. I don't like having too much parts because I'm messy and I might misplace them. But with this bottle, there's not much parts to it. I can clean it easily. It also doesn't leak. I've left it in all sorts of different positions in my bag but it never leaked once. I'm glad that I had this travel mug. I left it at school the other day and now, it's not there anymore. I'm really sad about it. I'm off to try other travel mugs but the others have a lot to live up to. If they can't satisfy me, I'll come back to this travel mug 100%.

Almost as good as a Zojirushi, with a few minor (but critical) flaws.
I bought two of these when they went on sale to compare against my other (tons of) mugs. This guy can be mentioned in the same sentence as an honorable mention to the stellar Zojirushi brand thermal mugs, but there are a few things that kind of suck about this vs. the Zojis. Note: There are multiple zoji designs/form factors, so take this FWIW. My preferred Zoji design is the one with the flip top that you can drink directly out of.1) Good: The screw top lid is nice and easy to clean. Single gasket, seals very well. Easy to clean.2) Good: The thermal performance of this mug is excellent. I haven't compared it directly against the Zoji yet, and I probably won't, since it's very, very good. All other brands I've tried (KleanKanteen, HydroFlask, Takeya, Contigo) pale in comparison. This and the Zoji mugs don't have any evidence of heat coming off the bottles, which indicates their insulation efficiency.3a) Bad: The mug "spills" or "drips" a lot. Don't get me wrong, the seal is AWESOME. However, the screw top design leaves much to be desired (see second product picture). Since the seal is set pretty low on the lid, the seal does not block liquid from the threads of the mug. That means when you take a drink or pour a drink, the liquid in the threads can leak out. I rinse my lid and mug before I fill it (in case of stale old drinks), so there is ALWAYS water in the lid. I shake this out, but even then, when I shut the thermos, I get water that trickles out.3b) Liquid always sticks on the lid, so be careful when opening it to try to tap it a few times so it drips back into the bottle. You'll fail, and you'll inevitably drip stuff on your clothes. I have a lot of issues with coffee getting on me at work. This is a silly/stupid/'minor' problem, but when you drip coffee on gray pants at work, that's a badge you have to wear all day.4) Bad: Since this is a GOOD bottle to drink out of, I do. However, when the liquid level falls to about half, if you drink and then lower the bottle quickly, the liquid crashes back down and often splashes back out of the vessel. It's an easy thing to fix: just don't make rapid movements with your mug. It's hard to keep that in mind when habits form, though, so this (and above leakage) is the main reason reason I downgrade this to four stars. The contrasting opinion of course is that the big mouth of the mug is a huge bonus when you're trying to fit in ice cubes. Fair enough!5) Bad: I bought two of these on sale. One of them had a rattle or a "swish" sound when empty. It sounds like there's sand captured inside the vacuum sealed area of the mug. This was annoying, but not a deal breaker. Seems like manufacturing or QC issues. The bottle still holds heat well, so I didn't return it (to have another thing end up in the landfill).Overall, this is a really well made, well performing thermal mug. I'd recommend it without a second thought. Zojirushi mugs are slightly better due to the design flaws of this type of vessel.

Better than their new model.
New model is lighter, not slippery, but smells a little bit.

I am so disappointed in this mug
I am so disappointed in this mug. It looks so pretty and red and I was so excited to use it but the functionality of it is terrible. Sure it keeps my coffee hot, but so do a lot of mugs these days. It really keeps my coffee too hot to drink, which would be fine if I could just pour it another cup to drink. That is what I normally do with these mugs because I am a nurse and can never sit down long enough to drink my coffee. For some reason the thread is on the inside of the cup so whenever I pour it out into another cup to drink it just spills everywhere. This is such a pain. I have to pour it over a sink or a garbage can and it makes a mess all over the place and all over the outside of the mug. Very disappointed and not sure if I can still return it.
