Beautiful Grips
Bought these cocobolo grips for my FÉG Hipower. I’ve only just now put them on and I love them. The grips feel very nice in the hands, especially compared to the original grips I had, and the red-orange color is very pleasing to look at. For the grain of the wood, I was actually expecting it to be more of a vertical pattern like in all of the pictures I’ve seen, but I actually like the horizontal grain that I got on mine way more.I’ll try and remember to update this review after going to the range and trying them out. Also please excuse the poor photos, they really don’t do the grips justice. One photo is with the flash off, and the other has it on.

If there is a drawback to these grips, it is that the finish is so nicely polished to a shine that it actually lessens grip; the pistol is a bit slippery with these on it. That being said, I am leaving them on.Firstly, because of the aesthetics. A fine wood grain, a deep stain, and a durable, quality clear coat. And secondly, because of the ergonomics; these are very thin, and change the width of the grip dramatically. My hi power went from feeling like a double stack in the hands to more like a single stack 1911, a grip that I have always preferred. This may not be for everyone, but if a pretty pistol with thinner grips is your objective, I recommend these hogue grips.

You can never go wrong with Hogue.
Hogue grips never seem to disappoint.These came with beautiful grain. The only bad thing I can say about Hogue grips, and this is not on them personally is that you never know what the grain will look like, but again that is the nature of the wood. These fit perfect, and just made an already beautiful pistol that much more attractive.They also slim down the grip quite a bit which was another reason for going for the Hogue brand. Makes the pistol feel that much more natural in your hand. You can't go wrong with these. Delivery was fast, and they arrived in great condition.

Terrific fit and much thinner than the stock BHP grips - makes the grip on the BHP feel more like a 1911 grip. And did I tell you about the red color? NICE!
