No, very comfortable but won't work for that.

I left mines in the balcony the entire winter and there’s no rust. They are outdoors furniture, so they’re expected to withstand rain and even snow.

Says it holds up to 300 lbs. it is super sturdy and well made so I’m sure 250 won’t be an issue!
