comfortable for medium/long fingers
I thought a thumb-rest was sufficient for a reasonably secure hold of my X100v (though it did sometimes get caught on things when the camera was on a strap around my neck), but when I started using back-button focus more often, the thumb-rest got in the way of easy access to the AEL/AFL button. But without it my hold of the camera didn’t feel secure- certainly not enough for one-handed operation. I have medium-longish fingers and needed something more to grip. I looked at the photos and specs of various grips available (Hoage, Meike, JJC, etc_- the Wepoto looked to have a slightly more substantial grip than the others, has a perforation for the speaker on the bottom of the camera and an additional strap attachment point on the bottom corner (not all of the other grips have both of these features). It also has the usual Arca-Swiss style integrated tripod mount, as well as threaded holes for direct mount. Construction is good, finish is good (the ‘rubberized’ part of the grip doesn’t 100% match the texture of the camera, and isn’t particularly ‘grippy’, but it’s good enough). It fits my hand really well- index finger on the shutter release, middle finger hooked over the top of the grip with access the front command dial, ring and pinky curled around the front. The bottom corners and edges are ‘eased’ and smooth and much more comfortable than the sharper ones on the cheap leather half-case/tripod plate combo I was previously using. I’ve found it very useful to wear the camera slung cross-body, with the strap attached so it hangs vertically- it’s perfectly oriented when I reach down with my right hand to grab it and raise it up to my eye. The Wepoto has everything I was looking for in a grip, fits great, and the price was right. The only ‘improvement’ I can think of would be the inclusion of a detachable plate for vertical tripod mount, like a couple of the other grip options have- though to be honest I suspect I would never actually put it on and use it…

Beautiful, functional, essential
Beautiful and functional wooden grip makes it easy to grasp the camera in a variety of positions. Top quality, yet much cheaper than many similar grips you find on other sites. Highly, highly recommended.

Beautiful Accessory
I have a really nice Kaza leather camera case that I've had on my Fuji X100F since I bought it 3 years ago. It's still beautiful, but I wanted a bit of a different look after 3 years. I have a few items coming in to help with the look, they'll be arriving soon (Square Hood lens hood; black leather wrist strap from Deadcameras). I ordered this camera grip because I wanted something a little more substantial than the grip area on the camera body. And, I thought wood be a funkier choice aside from the usual black grips. This grip is BEAUTIFUL! It really kicks the camera up a notch. The biggest thing I would be cautious of is, the wood is REALLY smooth. So smooth that you want at least a wrist strap on your camera in case of slippage if holding it by the grip. I highly recommend. Once the other items arrive, I'll include a photo of my newly tricked out X100F.

DOESNT LOOK GOOD
Item looks great, has great quality, fits my camera perfectly well but it just doesn't look as good. I bought this due to the good reviews it gets in amazon and on youtube. But upon seeing it in person, it doesn't look good. Would return

Looks nice grip is awsome
Feels premium, like hard to tell where the grip ends and camera begins. I had a thumb grip because I have large hands, but trying to back button AF was impossible.. makes it seamless while using this grip.. 10 stars

Terrible Uneven Wood Finish
Terrible Uneven Wood Finish. The metal part of the Ebony wood grip was good, but the Ebony wood finish was low quality. I returned it. Very disappointed. Bill

I love the grips this company makes🥰
I’ve tried many grips on my X-Pro 2/3 and X100F & V hands down this grip is the most comfortable and well made grip I have ever used. I absolutely love it the color and the way it feels when I’m holding my V trust me this is worth every penny 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Awesome wood and metal!
I love it!! The wood feels good and the bottom is shaped so it don’t hurt when holding it in my hand, 10/10 I wish there’s more style of wood we can choose from, would pay extra for it:)
