This is one of those tools that just makes life easier. I’ve always used a regular razor blade to remove my registration stickers, and it was a hassle—peeling, scraping, and struggling to get my hand in the right spot. With this tool, it took only 2–3 smooth downward scrapes, a drop of Windex on a paper towel, and the glass looked good as new. A small investment that saves a lot of frustration.

I would give this scraper 5 stars except for safety issues. Pro: It's inexpensive, feels good in the hand, and does a great job of scraping. Con: It would be VERY easy to slice your fingers to ribbons trying to insert the blade into this scraper. There are no assembly instructions or safety warnings at all, either on or inside the box. Unboxing and installing the blades is not easy. I strongly recommend wearing thick leather gardening gloves or other cut-proof gloves while assembling this scraper! You will almost certainly be sorry if you don't. Assembly instructions: First, you need to unlock the clamping jaws by pressing a button on top of the handle. However, when I did this, the jaws did not open widely enough to insert a blade. I needed to pry them farther apart with a screwdriver to disengage the blade locking tabs inside the jaws. Second, you need to remove a blade from the box of blades they have provided. The blades are all razor sharp and they stick together. Extracting one without wearing gloves is very risky. Third, I strongly recommend putting the provided blade edge guard over the sharp edge of the blade before continuing. Even doing this requires gloves for safety. It takes a little finesse to get the guard over the blade edge. Now you can put the blade into the jaws of the holder. You might need to wiggle it around a little to get it in the right position. Finally, press the tab on the underside of the handle to close the jaws and lock the blade in place. From there, you're golden. The scraper works great and did an excellent job of getting old tape and sticky spots off my kitchen window. Just be sure to put the blade's safety guard back on before you put the scraper away.

Scraped up stuff, that's been on the floor for about a year, or many more than that, that we've never been able to remove, we never thought scrapers could do this until we got this one.

Best scraper! It comes with a small case full of skinny long blades. Easy to install. Comes with a protective cover to encase the blade when not in use. Need to scrape sticky annoying stickers off a bunch of windows? This tool and nail polish remover were my friends. Acetone and the razor blade scraper were the best tools. I don’t know what’s better. But the nail polish remover picked up paint spots off the faux wood floors without damaging the surface. The razor made impossible to remove stickers almost easy. Super useful for getting up sticky stuff, glue and gunk. I took the stickers off windows for a 1700 square foot house and the one blade I used is still terrifyingly sharp. The blades are thin on top of being the sharpest they can be.

This scraper works great! We moved into this house a couple years ago and the windows were covered in lime build up from the sprinklers. My wife finally went out with a razor blade to clean them up and the difference was amazing. But it is a hard process with those little razor blades. This made the process so much easier! The grip is comfortable. the size makes the job go qickly and minimizes missed spots. They are razor sharp so watch out! Just perfect for window work.

It doesn’t come with any instructions and is very difficult to both carefully insert and remove the blades. When trying to remove the blades, I had to use pliers to remove and had to use a great deal of force to pull them out which is very dangerous because my hands and pliers slipped several times attempting to do this. There is a button to open and release the blades, but the blades become stuck after scraping, so the release button doesn’t work, necessitating the need for pliers. I purchased this to scrape the grease off of my oven window, and while it did work, I really feel like it could’ve been done in half the time with a better and sturdier tool. I had to use several blades because they dulled so quickly. And had to use pliers every single time to remove the stuck blades. I should’ve just paid a few dollars more for something better. Don’t make my mistake…
