Good product, tasty and handy
I’ve never been a canned meat person, but this product was an interesting surprise. I will say, the meat is fatty but there is plenty of actual meat so you would feel gypped. I wish the shelf life was longer (mine takes me out a little under a year), but in a pinch it’s a good product to have on hand. The only thing I’ve made so far was hashed browns. Get all your other ingredients cooked up like you want it and add the corned beef at the end. It was very good. What would do differently is not use as much olive oil in the pan to sauté the other ingredients, and take some of the fat from the can and use it instead of the olive oil. It’s versatile, and handy have on hand, especially if, say, you live in a colder climate and like hash browns, sandwiches etc or just don’t feel like the hassle of making corned beef. Good size chunks of beef too, so I found the meat pieces mostly still had form.

Best Canned Corned Beef Available!
This is the best (and only) canned corned beef I will buy. Texture, flavor are both great--not pasty or bland. Worth any extra cost over other brands.

Tasty meat item from Australia
Tasty and flexible but there is a bit more liquid fat and water in the tin that I don't like. I've decided not to reorder. I think those characteristics decrease the value for money.

Corned beef
I love corned beef and this brand is my go to for a quick meal. I’ve been buying this for years and won’t buy any other brand.

Not a very good corned beef - much fat, its greasy and watery.
This corned beef is very greasy and has chunks of non meat that look like arteries. It tasted okay. My son had some Hormel brand corned beef and we compared them. The Hormel product was vastly superior with larger chunks of meat and it wasn't full of fat and water as the Ox and Palm corned beef.

Yummy!
Taste really good and much cheaper buying it on Amazon than my local Asian grocery store. I’ve tried various flavors and they all taste consistent to me. If greasiness is a problem (which isn’t for me), just scoop out the fat/oil sitting on the top of the can before cooking.

Great tinned corned beef...
I will only buy two brands of canned corned beef: Palm from New Zealand and the very similar Ox And Palm from Australia, both are 'chunky style " (shredded meat rather than a finely ground near paté) and are in round fans that are easily opened with a common can opener (no keys or jagged edges... Although Ox and Palm does also produce a version in the traditional rectangular key-opened can if you must have tradition...) Never again will I buy the Brazilian finger-ripper cans when the best is safer for fingers *AND* less expensive! Nice to find "the good stuff" from Amazon without the usual "imported food" mark-up from certain "specialty" third-party sellers... I can get the brand, but not the onion flavored variety, at similar prices from local mercados and the nearby Saars Marketplace (discount/international market) but it's nice to have one to two day Prime delivery!
