love these. I was introduced to the ice cube bags when I lived in France. They are perfect for the freezer in our travel trailer, We take them with us where ever we go and always have ice. Love them and they are cheaper than a trip to France.

Goal to prevent old fridge flavor, chose by ratings/reviews, only ones I tried, worked well enough to stick with. I found it easiest to fill directly from the faucet set to a very small stream, to hold the bag-opening around the aerator with one hand while jiggling the rest of the bag with the other to achieve maximum fill. I use the water from the hot side because it tastes better -- my water heater boils out the chlorine and kills the remaining bugs. The water itself is not hot because it cooled off in the pipe previously. In the freezer I lay it down on some waxpaper or a pan because it is impossible to completely shake/towel off the excess I get on the outside. The self-seal works fine and I haven't had a leaky bag yet. I like how the cubes pop out when you stretch the plastic.

We don't have room in our freezer for ice trays and I bought these to have ice for iced coffee. They work great and I didn't find them difficult to fill. Cubes are easy to separate.
