Touch and Learn Activity Desk Deluxe Expansion Pack for Pre-K

This is an amazing product that both my grandsons love. I love that there is so many different activities and they can learn at their own pace. I was looking at the prices for all the expansions and almost chucked the whole toy to buy something that cost less (buying the expansions you could spend anywhere between $8-$20 but I am glad I didn't and found this value pack. I was worried that these expansions wouldn't work with the activity desk I have (I have the original write and explore activity desk) but there was no problems whatsoever. It is so easy to use that my 1 year old grandson does it by himself. Just plug in the cartridge (make sure it is the one the same color as the page you are inserting) and then insert the page into the desk.

Love it, great for toddler learning

My 2 yr old got the activity desk for his birthday in January. It took a bit for him to show interest and then to truly use the table as intended, but 4 months later he uses it daily. I purchased the additional sheets for more variety and it's been a great buy. Since it's intentionally repetitive he's easily repeating the sounds, names, songs that each sheet provides. He's able to identify letters, numbers, shapes and animals easily. He really enjoys the various songs included too. He's not 100% able to do the spelling, vowel, and all the games yet, but he'll get there. I haven't introduced much technology to him yet. We don't watch much tv and he only knows computers/ tablets to FaceTime my folks who are out of town. Vtech provides a simpler use of technology without all the fast moving use of a digital screen. I know he'll eventually be significantly savvier than me with technology, but I'm attempting to shield him from it as long as I can. This has been a great purchase and a great way to slowly and simply introduce a toddler to educational technology. When needed, we'll definitely be purchasing the additional sheets geared toward older children.

Value for money.

I was very reluctant to order this set for my son's Touch and Learn Deluxe Desk, but am so glad I did my research. It does work for his Deluxe Desk (with the red owl) and we had no issues. As previous reviews have stated, when I first inserted a mat, it gave me a X on the owl, but then it told me to insert the associated cartridge. As long as the correct mat and cartridge are inserted, we've had no issues on the Deluxe Desk. The question section for this product was very helpful in ensuring it'd work for our desk, please make sure you read it. My son loves these pages and it helps him get ready for school.

Bought them with the desk and it was a good purchase as well. Educational, age appropriate, fun appearance, not that durable if handled often.

I have two different learning tables that I bought this product for. BOTH work with this bundle. With all the bad reviews , I was hesitant on buying but it came with every card and mat. You have to insert the same color card with the same color mat or I believe it won’t work. Blue card gets inserted on top , blue mat slides into the “insert here” spot on top of the ABC’s. My box was a little squished but that can be from the mail people. Didn’t do damage to anything inside. I’m excited to use this with my toddler !

So, I’m a bit of a neat freak and THIS product right here...it made me actually happy. Not the fake consumerism kind of happy that lasts for a few minutes. No, actual, legit happy. I’ve had the product several weeks now and it’s a great buy. The desk itself, as most do, came with two activity work sheets (totaling three activities because one side was used for advertisement). I was having a pretty discouraging time on where to store the other page when not in use so I was hesitant to have even MORE pages to have to pick up out of the floor and put where?? It ALWAYS fell out of the desk when being played with and nowhere else made sense so the one not in use was always kind of just...there.. so...fast forward and I’ll explain why THIS product EXCEEDS my expectations for TWO reasons: 1)I thought the company would be like “here enjoy you’re activities wrapped in throw away plastic”. Nope. You have a pretty decent filing system with easy to see colored/worded labels 2) when I initially ordered 16 pages, I thought I would be receiving EIGHT pages due to the front and back nature of these things. I thought “sheesh that’s expensive for 8 pages”. I was pleasantly surprised to actually get 16 pages and four cartridges. Prior to receiving this in the mail, I didn’t even know the desk had a cartridge so that was a pretty neat surprise too. My two year old plays with this every day at some point and he’s had it for a month.

Kid loves all the cards. Great variaty. You have something for every mood. My little one learn a new word everyday. Only thing is cards are very slippery so be careful if its on the floor. Great product.

Many charts for kids to study, need a finger to point & learn it correctly, while if 1 of the whole hand was leaning on the chart, and the other finger was pressing it, it became sensitive and messy in learning...

Apparently thus is only compatible with the deluxe version of the activity desk o my available in America. I’ve just found this out having saved it since September for an Easter present. Very disappointing g and a waste of money.
