4 more days would be a year. Noticed today that it’s not working

When I first plugged it in, it worked great to clean my dirty aquarium water and barely made any noise. Less then a week after I started using it I noticed that only a drip of water was coming out instead of the usual spray. I tried cleaning it but that didnt work. After cleaning it, not only was barely any water coming out, it also started making weird noises. I returned this filter and got another one that is louder and doesnt clean the water as well but at least that one still works after a few weeks.

It's not as easy to take apart for cleaning as the small Nicrew filters on my other tanks, but I love the fact this little filter has a flow control on it. On a lower setting with the spray bar turned toward the side of the jar, it's working perfectly in my little 2g shrimp jarrarium. The way it's designed, the intake is covered by a sponge, so there's no worry about it sucking up tiny shrimplets.

It was not loud. It created significant movement in my ten gallon tank. It lasted almost ten months.It stopped putting out as much flow so I took the whole thing apart and got it flowing good again. It stopped working again so quickly that I didn't bother trying another time and instead bought a new one.

I love this little filter and have 2 even in my 75 gallon tank. In a big tank they make a great skimmer and are safe even for baby shrimp in smaller tanks. They are safe for fry and still clean well. Wen they stop pumping as strong, they are a breeze to pull and clean. I have at least 1 in all my 15 tanks. They are adjustable for any type of fish even Bettas.It was great to finally find an inexpensive pump that worked for everything like this one did. I would highly recommend for any one that keeps fish.

The media could not be loaded.  After receiving this from Amazon and setting it up, it worked great...for a week! Then it started pulsating the water from none to high flow. And it started creating small bubbles. I attempted to contact the manufacture as the instructions said to call them with any problems. Only problem, I couldn't find the phone number even after Googling them.Cleaned the unit and it worked a couple of days and then started doing the same thing. Cleaned it again and set it back into the aquarium, the next day, same thing. This time cleaning didn't correct the problem and I'm afraid my fish might die.It is a 3 gallon aquarium with a Goldfish, a ghost shrimp and a snail, trying to cycle the tank.I would not recommend this unit!

The media could not be loaded.  This was made better than I expected. Packaging isn't the best and I thought this was used because it had white sand substrate looking stuff all over. It turned out to be the dust from the ceramic rings. This was packaged with the ceramic rings already loaded under the sponge.Open this up and inspect it before starting it. I ran it dry right away and it made an awful binding sound from the fan. Turns out the fan cover wasn't properly on. After rinsing it off, properly putting it back together it ran quietly.This will easilly handle up to a 20 gallon standard, maybe a 20 gallon long if you don't need heavy water flow. Next time I'll get the 10 to 40 gallon version.

This filter is horrible!!! Doesn’t do the job at all. The waterfall attachment does not work on constant basis. The strength is weak especially considering it’s a TURTLE filter. I’ve had better luck with regular fish filters for my turtles. Complete waste!!!
