Ollny Christmas Lights 262FT 800LED, Plug-in Outside Tree Lights with Timer and 8 Modes, Remote Control Waterproof Dimmable Outdoor String Light for House Yard Patio Xmas Decorations(Warm White)

These are awesome lights. The color, the different tempos, the length.. But you cannot plug these into another string of lights of the very same brand and make which makes for extension cord set ups. The first picture is of the exterior outlet I wanted to plug them into and connect/ run the together with an exterior extension cord. The second picture is the end that you can connect another string of lights to but we tried with the second set we purchased and they wouldn’t work. It has the plug to connect to another string of the same lights like you would normally want to do with LED lights but these you cannot. The second string will not work and it dims the first set of lights. Plus, you cannot plug these into a heavy duty orange or green extension cord normally used for outside and longer extension lengths. These are only fully functional with regular white or brown interior type extension cords or outlets.Because we could install these lights where the extension cords wouldn’t be exposed directly outside because of our deck and only for the month of December we decided not to return them. The remote is nice but I found that they don’t work when plugged into extension cords so you’ll have to use the built in mode changers on the actual strings. We have four in total with these lights as we bought two of the white and two of the blue. After skillful installation and cords galore we set the twinkle setting once and made sure to plug them into an interior outlet so we can just flip the light switch on and off. Worth the initial hassle for us, because they’re so beautiful but I would’ve been happier to be able to connect the strings together, to only use one extension cord. But as you see from the pictures each string needs to be plugged in separately. Make sure to test them inside when opened and then again outside with the actual outlets or extension cords you have in mind, before actually wrapping or hanging them because that’s where you’ll find that they might not work or one string does and the other (connected) strings don’t, and/or the remotes don’t work. We found out the hard way and had to unwrap and take them down and almost returned them when I could understand why they worked when we plugged them inside the home first. And then rehang and install them when I figured out the multiple issues. I hope this long review was helpful.

Originally purchased these in November of 2021 and we strung them up around a giant old tree in front of our house. Having a single 262 foot strand made it a lot easier than connecting multiple strands, and the fact that these LED lights don't plug into little sockets like a typical strand meant that it was easier to wrap around the bark of the tree and not worry about things catching or falling out. The lights were warm, bright, and easily controlled with the remote, and we were quite happy with the 2021-2022 season.When removing Christmas lights for the 2022-2023 season, we unfortunately found that the whole strand had gone out. We couldn't find any obvious issues - I checked the whole strand, and the adapter box - so it's possible that the adapter box or some single piece at the base was faulty. Bummer that a single failure could take down the whole strand, but we reached out to Ollny about their 1 year warranty, and their customer service quickly got back to us and was happy to replace the whole strand. The second strand worked really well too, and I'm really happy with the customer service overall. Hard to say what that fault may have been, but I'm happy to see a brand stand by their product and their customer service, and I'll continue to buy more lights from Ollny in the future because of it. Solid recommend, and also a thanks to Ollny for the help!

Read the reviews prior to ordering and these lights sounded promising. When I pulled them out of their box everything looked to be on the up and up. I plugged in the lights to ensure they worked before putting them on my tree. All lights appeared to be working.However, once the lights were on the tree I noticed one strand that was now not lighting like the others. Upon closer inspection I noticed one light bulb that was not properly built on the strand (see picture) so the wiring forces the electricity to cut in and out.I can’t begin to describe how incredibly frustrating this was to discover once the lights were ON the entire tree, along with our ornaments. As soon as the holiday is over and I can take down the tree, I will be returning these lights.UPDATE- The seller reached out to me shortly after my dissatisfactory review. To make things right they sent their sincere apologies, refunded my money, allowed me to keep the lights I have and offered to send me another package at no cost. Excellent customer service! Thank you!

The lights are bright and look great, however, one of the sets will not stay steady and I've tried everything which is SO frustrating, as I don't want anything but steady lights. Also, very odd that each box I ordered came with a different remote. One box had an "LLNY" labeled remote, the other box came with a "Golden Power" remote that is completely different. LLNY has no numbers on it, the Golden Power remote does.Update: the company sent me a piece that attaches the power chord to the lights, but it didn't fit properly, so they did try to help. Numerous times, I unplugged the set that wouldn't stay on the steady light setting. The remote still did not work to keep the lights steady, however, I did realize that there is a button on the box that is attached to the power chord. I pressed it a few times and finally got the steady light setting. I've made a note for next year to only use the remote to set the timer on the lights. Overall, the lights are bright and fit very well over the 2 large bushes in front of my house.

Used these to decorate the bushes in front of my home. Love the colors and the different settings to choose from. I think the quality is great. They seem durable. Using them from November until January 2st without any issues. Let’s see how it goes next year. The remote control made it so easy to turn them on every night.
