PISSED
I am NOT happy with these AT ALL. First off, I should have read the reviews. They obviously have been opened previously and they were missing some hair. I am very very upset considering I paid $200 including expedited shipping that was $15. There were literally like three tracks. I've bought this brand before so I was looking forward to getting them again until I opened the box. I am so disappointed.

Would never buy again!!!
Was so disappointed with these hair extensions!! The amount of money I paid for them I figured they would not fall apart. Two of my extensions broke when I tried to put them in and have had to sew 5 clips back on. If I could I would give zero stars!!

NOT 100% REMY Human Hair
First off, I am reviewing this PRODUCT on amazon because I am unable to contact Barely Xtensions directly about their product. (ahem, That's weird...) Anyways:These are great beautiful extensions if you aren't expecting human hair. They are very comfortable to wear. Be sure to buy the exact color you want/that matches because you will not be able to satisfactorily bleach/color them. I bought mine from Sally's Beauty Supply, Chestnut color. Inside the store the sales associate matched them to my hair, excellent. When I got them into the sunlight, the color was a very pink tone. Totally unnatural for any natural human hair color. I tried to color them to a neutral color with demi permanents all to no avail. Next step, color remover: it removed some of the brown leaving behind a more visibly pink tone. Next step bleach: they lifted about 2 levels and then stopped lightening. The pink has persisted no matter what. Also during bleaching it made it very evident that these extensions are not 100% human hair. Visible dark black coarse black strands mixed throughout the extensions were very obvious. These strands were not lightening, they feel like synthetic hair. More experimentation after this enlightenment: heat, these coarse black strands don't withstand heat, they curl up and become very elastic, then become brittle tiny burnt pieces. HUMAN HAIR DOES NOT DO THAT. I wouldn't have a problem with these extensions at all if (1.) the marketing was accurate and honest about the product NOT being 100% REMY HUMAN HAIR and (2.) they are priced according to the fact of number (1.)

Great for fine hair
EDIT 2/1/20 These are still in great condition. I’ve started wearing them almost everyday for last few months- have yet to wash as they hold a wave really well so I use minimal product. I wish they made them in a halo.I bought these to wear for special occasions, but I wear them several times a week they are so easy to use. I have baby-fine hair and have trouble covering the stitching on regular extensions but these blend so well. I have not had issues with the hair quality like others, but I may also just be used to being very gentle due to my natural hair texture (breaks easily, can’t use a lot of heat, etc). I just wish they came in a shorter lengths- I felt guilty cutting 6 inches off to blend with my regular hair. Otherwise they have been great. I have had them for about 6 mos and have not washed them yet.

Adds Volume To Fine Hair
Great for adding volume to very fine hair! This is my first time using hair extensions. I have very long, baby-fine, soft, straight hair and I have a small head. Due to my fine hair, I have never been able to braid it or wear a pony tail, and hair accessories always slide right out. My hair curls easily but the curl drops within 2-3 minutes, so I just wear it straight.I bought the 18" Barely Xtensions clip-ins in Platinum, which matched my hair color fairly well, as it's lighter on the ends and darker at the roots (I color it). The extensions were very easy to put in my hair (I watched YouTube videos first) and they didn't feel bulky or heavy after they were clipped in. The clips are easy to use and the hair is not heavy on my head at all. Of course, there isn't a lot of hair on the extensions to even make it feel heavy.I have a small head, so the 9" strip (the widest one) is actually a little too wide for me. I would prefer a 7" or 8" strip in order to be able to hide it better underneath my fine hair. I did realize later, that I could substitute several of the smaller pieces in place of the widest one.I took pictures of my hair, before and after the extensions were clipped in. I only used two of them, the 9" and the 6" on top of that one ... and those were enough extra hair for me because I have such a small head. The extensions added volume and I was able to put my hair into a low pony tail and even braid it!I did notice, because my natural hair is so fine that I don't have a lot of hair available to cover the bands, and because my roots are darker than the ends of my hair, that I can see where the extension is placed. They may blend better once I color my roots again. But I think I'll have to go against the manufacturer's warning and apply a darker color to the clip ends of the extensions so they'll match and hide better in between coloring. These extensions work well for me, with my fine hair, but I think if you have thick hair to begin with, you may be disappointed in these because there isn't much hair on them at all. When you hold them up, you can see through the hair.I don't know how these will hold up and I'm a little disappointed that the blonde shades don't have darker root ends to match those of us who are not natural blondes all the way to the roots.... but so far, I love these extensions because they are soft and they look and feel EXACTLY like my natural hair! I would recommend these for adding volume to very fine hair.

Loved them!
I purchased these at a beauty supply to try out... them I read the amazon reviews and was scared. I was happily surprised when I got them open and started clipping them in! They were great quality and stay in well! Maybe not as thick as some but very good for me!

Little Amount of Hair, Weak Clips
I bought these at a Sallys store, paying for the more expensive brand thinking it would last awhile and be worth more of the investment. More than one of my clips won't snap anymore (which I can fix, I know). You only receive 5 pieces, which the standard for most is 8. The hair is just not worth it for the price. They are wearable and nice quality (except the clips and wefts themselves), but I've purchased extensions human hair for half this price and had better value but paid less.

DONT BUY
EXTREMELY THIN. I don’t even know the grams of thickness but they did not blend with my hair at all. I tried everything.
