I enjoyed it thoroughly but I will say this-it is a more YA book, and I would recommend it for teens more than I would for adults. But still a great story that will take you through all of the emotions with great writing!

Not my favorite, but not the worst!
I wanted to love this book - I loved the cover, the title & the description...BUT it fell flat for me. The main character was not entirely likable, there were lots of secrets, twists and turns galore...but the ending was rushed, the twists were just ok and the reader never fully invests themselves into the sisters or their relationship. I felt like there was so much potential to be more, but it missed the mark a bit for this reader. There was a lot of fluff in the middle, and the reader got a bit bored for a time, they felt like there was so much time invested in the minor character's and not enough on the ones who actually make the story work. I felt like we just jumped from 0 to 100 for the ending and it needed more. The overall story was ok, I wanted it to be amazing! Overall a good read, but it could have been a great read!

Great read for pre-teens or teens
Was a really interesting story and I didn’t see the ending coming which was nice. Lots of twist and turns that kept me engaged.

This is a Very YA read.
If uncomplicated writing is not your jam, then this book isn't for you. That being said, it was a fun read. This is the story of Savannah, whose sister has had a tragic accident and is in a coma. The big question is, was it an accident? The whole community believes she jumped, but Savannah is certain that there was foul play. We are on a very Nancy Drew adventure to uncover the truth and clear Savannah's guilty conscience. The Good: This was a very fast-paced and fun read. The Bad: Some of the more rediculous decisions that are made make this book unrealistic in a way that can sometimes take you out of the story.

Needed more for the ending.
A fast-paced YA thriller with secrets buried deeper than the forest floor. When Savannah’s sister falls off a cliff during a school hike and ends up in a coma, it’s ruled an accident—but Savannah’s gut says otherwise. Fueled by guilt and suspicion, she sets out to find out what really happened on the mountain that day. What unfolds is a twisty ride full of secrets, tension, and messy teenage drama. What I liked was the quick, bingeable pacing. A haunting wilderness setting that adds suspense. The emotional tension between siblings was a strong thread throughout. Multiple suspects and red herrings to keep the mystery alive. What didn’t work for me was ome characters felt a little underwritten or stereotypical. Savannah’s investigation style (aka confronting people head-on) felt forced. The ending wrapped things up too fast—it could’ve used more emotional payoff. Despite some flaws, this book was addictive. I kept turning pages, eager to uncover the truth. It’s a solid pick for readers who enjoy twisty thrillers with complicated family dynamics and high-stakes secrets. Recommended for fans of: One of Us Is Lying, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and survival-style YA mysteries. Not the deepest mystery out there, but still a fun, wild ride. Would I read another Chelsea Ichaso book? Definitely.
