Brand new to compression socks. Glad I bought these.
Never wore compression socks before in my life. Had some folks from church highly suggest them. Ran into problems with left leg from back to toes. PT helped a little. MRI showed nerve issues. Trying chiropractor before a spine specialist. Bought these as another way to conservatively try & fix things. I am not a Dr. but these are a step in the good direction. They do help. Certainly, not a quick cure, but I have felt improvement from wearing them. Cold sensation & tingling in my foot is noticeably less. I have no problems wearing them for more than 8 hrs at a time. They are very high quality & are comfortable. Obviously they are tight. I have an easier time putting them on without balling them up trying the get the whole sock over my heel. Just start at the top sliding the unraveled sock over your foot & heel, then gently tug as you need pulling it where it gets snug. Much better than getting the whole bunged up sock over your whole leg. After the first wear, I bought 5 more pairs. Amazon even gave me a discount on a couple of them. I'm sold. Good socks. The only negative, is the cool material they are made of. Unavoidable. I am kinda sensitive to cooling fabric like spandex, moisture wicking clothes are a negative to me. These are cooling. They get cold easy. Yet, they are thin enough that you can wear a warm sock over them & they do not create a problem wearing your normal shoes. Still worth the buy. Understand the need for the material, will not knock off a star for it.

SIZE MATTERS!
Getting the correct size means everything. That sounds like an obvious statement but sizing is different from company to company. There are two parts to sizing. First is the compression with figures such as 15/20, 20/30 etc. Your doctor, trainer or coach will make this determination for you. The second is the actual size. This is where it gets tricky. Some companies go SM/MED & LG/EXLG. Avoid these! SB Sox goes SM, MED, LG, & EXLG. Much easier & better fit. You may want to get your first pair from a medical supply store usually found in professional buildings. They will take your doctors compression measurements and then measure your lower leg in 2 spots with a tape measure. Make sure to write these numbers down as these shops charge top dollar & they're not covered by medicare! Having these numbers will allow you to shop on Amazon. The prices vary considerably. I found SB Sox to be in the mid range. I have tried a few different manufacturers and have been most pleased with SB Sox. Good luck!

My favorite brand so far!
Okay, I’m hesitant to write a review after only one day of wearing these, but they’re just so dang comfy! The second I put them on, I could tell they’d be better than the other 2 brands I have (Motif Medical (thin & not cute) & MomCozy (good compression, cute, but too long)). The biggest difference is how cushioned the feet are. They feel like nice athletic socks! I think with how soft the material is on the bottoms of the feet, they’ll likely pill, but that doesn’t bother me. And how cute is this hot pink? I have to wear these every day for pregnancy varicose veins, so I’m trying to be as fashionable as possible since it’s spring/summer and everyone can see them, haha. The only reason I knocked off a star is because according to their size chart, I should be a small, but I ordered a small & a medium, and the mediums fit PERFECTLY, while the small was too short in the feet and the calf. And if you read this far, I apologize for the crayoned play table, the toddlers are always one step ahead!

Lots of compression on these
Man these things are tight. I am on my feet all day and I had a car wreck a while ago that left some pain in my leg, but with these on that didn’t happen at all. I have heard that these get a little looser with washing so I got the 30 compression so that even if they lose some compression over time I will still get the 15, and now honestly I hope they do lose some compression because these things are super tight 😂

Top notch product, terrific vendor: Recommended to anyone.
SB SOX (20-30mmHg): The best I've tried thus far (and I've tried a lot of compression socks). Suffered from multiple DVT's in the left leg due to several veins collapsing during one of the surgeries. They installed some 6+ FT of stents on the veinous side to save the leg (one of the FDA studies out there). Anyway, the end result is that I now get to wear compression stockings from now on. These are simply the best compression stockings that I've found so far (including the medical grade ones you need an Rx for - that simply cost 4-times as much, but have same rating and do the same thing). The band at the top does not cut, they provide good/solid compression from the ankle up, and they make your legs feel great. I've tried some brands that I've simply had to throw away after wearing them once (they were that bad or the band at the top was simply not worth it). For walking/exercise, the SB-SOX also feel great and help during and after the walk (can now do 5-8K's). Or, if you are on your feet all day, these socks will make you feel better when you get to the end of the day (at least your legs will feel better). For the athletes, I can see these socks helping runners at any distance. The vendor is terrific to deal with and they are always willing to help (vendor provides some nice discounts for buying more than one - and you'll want to buy more than one so that you don't have to wash them every night). The only other one that I'd recommend is made by "Run Forever Sports" (also a 20-30mmHg compression) - they feel just as good. The SB-SOX's are a little cheaper out the gate and if you are buying more than 1-pair, they give you a 5% discount for each added pair (up to 30% off for 6-pair). For the money, the SB-SOX's are my go-to brand and I suspect I'll eventually be wearing this brand exclusively (once I've weeded out or worn out the sub-par brands that I've tried.........or once I've worn them enough that I can justify throwing them out; as they are expensive and I wanted to try and get some use out of the other brands that I still have). To anyone out there that wants to simply feel better at the end of a race or at the end of the day - give this brand a try. To anyone out there that needs to wear them for a medical condition (such as DVT's or the pain caused by them), you also will not be disappointed (hang in there and I hope you get some relief).Disclaimer: I paid for each pair of SB-Sox's that I own out of my own pocket and rec'd nothing for free (also got nothing for the time I spent to write this review). At times, I do wonder if the review is unbiased or not and I also wonder if the review can truly be unbiased if the product was given to them for free (I suppose it can be done - but you do still wonder). Anyway, we've all seen reviews where a product was given to a person for free or in exchange for an 'honest-review'. I wanted to put in the same sort of disclaimer - just stating that I paid for them outright. I do try to read reviews when I'm looking to make a purchase and I do appreciate when an honest review is available. While I don't write many reviews, I wanted to at least provide the same courtesy to others that I look for. So, I'll try to find time when a product is working for me and at least provide some feedback - hence this (long-winded) review.Best regards.
