Seat supports my 300lb frame
Only just started using this. So far so good. I've tested the seat and it feels pretty sturdy. I'll post an update if anything changes.

Cane with Seat
Fulfills my expectations. Shipped and arrived quickly and already working. I like to hike but have neuropathy problems, so the opportunity to sit from time to time is invaluable.

good chair
weird when first sitting in it but it works

Cane with a seat
Straddling this to sit on a small surface is less desirable.

Size of seat!
Handy little seat but definitely meant for skinny people!

Easy to use
I took this on a trip to Kentucky. I did a lot of walking. This was so great to have. I don’t normally use a cane, but it definitely came in handy. The best feature is the seat. When I got too tired or was standing in long lines, I folded down the seat and had a rest. Make sure you tighten all the screws/nuts before using. It does arrive assembled, but the screws will need to be tightened. No tools or instructions are included, so you will need a wrench/pliers and Phillips screwdriver. The seat screw will need a specialty bit to tighten, but this is usually included in any basic bit kit. The seat leg has an extra piece that just slides in place. All legs are adjustable. The seat snaps in place when not in use. It comes with extra rubber feet and an extra locking seat mechanism. I am a 75 year old woman and had no problem getting this ready to use. Despite having to tighten things with my own tools, I highly recommend it.

This is a great and handy cane/seat but I believe the weight it holds should be lower
This is easy to put together and adjust in various ways to your needs. As others have said, anatomy makes a difference. If you have a protruding belly where you carry all your weight, you will not be able to safely sit on this because you have to straddle it to sit safely and you risk not being able to get close enough to line up with the seat. If your higher weight is distributed throughout your body, this will work for you. The weight is good to use as a cane and carry around.I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because I seriously question the weight this holds safely. The listing says 440 lbs - no way can you sit on this safely at that weight. I actually took this to a meeting and enlisted friends to “try it out.” Everyone had a body that allowed them to correctly straddle the seat safely, so it was just height and weight.Female 5’6” 145 lbs - felt safe and loved itMale 5’10” 172 lbs - felt safe sitting, thought it was good, but felt 20-30 minutes was max due to sitting in one position too longFemale 5’ 2” 192 lbs - felt safe and loved itMale 6’ 3” 214 lbs - it was good to sit on but felt the cane part was not high enough to walk with, and the hand grip was too narrow for his handFemale 5’ 3” 234 lbs - it held her fine and felt safe as long as she didn’t move around much and she questioned the strength of the legs over timeFemale 5’ 6” 250 lbs - it held her but she felt it was too unsteady to safely sit on.Recommendation - lower the max weight to 250 lbs or lower. Realistically, I would say you are probably OK up to 220 lbs, but more than that, it becomes less safe and practical to use.
