Q: what is the white one for?

You can fill it (or just dip it) with water to turn your marker ink into watercolor.

Q: Do these bleed easily?

These are watercolor Markers so they do blend well which could be interpreted as bleed because they will react to anything with water in it. You can use a clear embossing powder and it will contain the watercolor. Hope this helps.

Q: are they good for blending and not just coloring in a crisp line?

I have not had much luck with blending. I may not be doing it right though.
