Chaco Men's Zcloud Sandal

not the toe strap kind !

My 12-year-old pair of Chaco's finally had the grip warn off the bottoms. I looked at getting them re-soled by Chaco and it cost $50+ Shipping. These were $50 new and although they no longer have the Vibram sole, they fit instantly and had no break in period. Love the arch support that Chaco provides! This version is the Classic Z style, but the cloud version. They are a little softer than the originals, but they are significantly lighter, which is a good thing. A single original Sandal weighed 18.7 oz and the new one weighs 13.7 oz. I loved the originals, but they were a heavy sandal.

Softer than the regular footbed, but not right for me.

I got these in a men’s 9. Definitely glad I did. I would normally go with an 8 in Tevas and 8.5 in most other shoes. These fit about the same. I feel some sizes run large and some run smaller. A 9 in men’s is definitely a bit smaller than a 9 in a lot of other shoes. If you are an 8.5 definitely size up to a 9. These feel nice, the straps are endless adjustable and the soles feel sturdy. They are heavier than most sandals but I’m cool with that.

Chaco definitely knows what they're doing.I bought my first pair in 97' and JUST NOW had to order a new pair!One pair, 26 yrs of wear!!!My only qualm with this type of sandal, is rocks tend to get stuck in them on float trips.

bought these because i recently got into kayaking and sometimes getting into your kayak requires stepping on to nasty weird feeling mud. with these things you can comfortably step into water gravel or sand then simply rinse them for 2 seconds before stepping into your kayak.the most surprising thing about these is how they just feel like shoes sometimes. my favorite thing so far was actually how much i like washing my cars with these things on. usually i get my sneakers or birkenstock wet and im feeling uncomfortable or slipping and sliding. how ever these are solid don't slide and almost feel like work shoes in terms of non slip and grip.

Full disclosure before this review, I have never worn sandals before in my life.I was looking for sandals for a vacation on the beach because I didn’t want to get my sneakers dirty. I bought these and there is a little bit of a break in period for them. Once they’re broken in they are really really comfortable, I wore them at all amusement park for over 10 hours walking around and came home to no foot pain.
