Mitt Flat Iron Travel Pouch, Large Size

Very nice , not cheap looking.

it is really cute packaging and nice pattern but it is not made with heat resistant material. i was under the impression that since it holds the flat iron that you can place it on top as i am styling my hair but i was very wrong ! it burned the pocket and there are burn marks all over it.

I was not happy keeping my curling iron balancing on the top of the side slab of my granite bathroom countertop. I'd then hang the cord over my nearby towel rack. After a couple years of doing this I decided, there has to be a better way. I didn't want to put it under the sink or in a drawer each time. I wanted it handy. I started searching for travel pouches, but I wanted one with a loop, for hanging. I have another zippered one I travel with. I saw this and, for $4.95 as an add-on, how could I lose? It looked a little wider than I needed, but the loop was what I wanted most. It arrived in 2 days and I took it right up and tried it out. It is perfect (if you are still going to hang an object that adds a bit to the clutter, rather than putting it in a drawer!) My towel rack did have a place where I could hang it on the end, but I wanted it back a little bit so I didn't bump into it all the time. So a twist tie through the loop and then around the side bar of the towel rack, and it is perfect. I especially like that you can tuck the cord in the outer pocket. My travel pouch is big and has a double pockets, one for the cord, or I can put it on top of the pocket area. But many that I browsed through here didn't mention a separate pocket for the cord. You don't want to put the cord up to a hot iron. So this is great and even handier, being on the outside. It does look like a potholder mitt, but the fabric is fairly plain and just fine with me. It doesn't zip, which I don't need. You can see from the product picture and the one I'm posting that the handle sticks out. It still should be fine for travel. The description didn't really say, but the lining is metallic, heat-resistant material. For $4.95, I couldn't even buy the materials to make this myself, given it has the special lining. Think about it for home use, as well as travel. It is great! Clutter problem in my bathroom much improved.

I looked for the felt folded travel holder and couldn't find it so ordered this one. It's okay, but there is no way to secure the cord and it doesn't fold out to securely keep the hot iron off my counter top. The fabric is great, but the design is not. I won't be ordering another one.

It was just okay. Really looked like a glorified hot pad. Took out the hand hot pad I had & the travel pouch was the same size. Says you can put a hot curling iron in the travel pouch but you can also do that with the hand hot pad. The travel pouch is cute.

This pouch works as expected. It seems well made and it great for storing my daughter's flat iron. Now if there was just a way to get her to do it so I don't have to go in her bathroom and do it myself when she leaves it out on the counter.

I got the Large size based on the previous reviews. I have no idea what their "Flat Iron" looks like but my CHI was swimming!! It was absurd!! It is so dang wide that the flat iron doesn't stay in it & how can you use it as a travel pouch to protect not only other items in your bag from the hot iron but it can't even protect your iron!!

I spend most weekends at my boyfriend's house and don't leave until it's time for work on Monday. Therefore, I'm normally using my flat iron right before I leave with little time for it cool. This item works just as described for my issues. I have no problem placing my normal size flat iron or bigger Instyler into the pouch, throwing it into my weekend bag, and leaving for work. Beforehand, I had to kill time in the mornings letting it cool down.
