If you put the netting on correctly, the bugs can't get in..the r at the bottom allows the water to seap out. But even placed bricks will do the job. I like that I can unzip to get in and out. I get hours of relaxation without the bugs. It's sold at a good price.

The item description was inaccurate as this umbrella net didn’t fit properly to cover my umbrella, it didn’t closed it didn’t reach the grass and certainly wasn’t able to go around a table and chairs. I was very disappointed not being able to use this for my grandsons birthday party out in the backyard.

This is for a 7.5 ft umbrella. I was only able to put 2 chairs in it, anything more and there would be no room to move. I definitely should have gone with the 9 ft. one.

It did not work at all for my cook out. It was so thin. We just kept it open

I bought this to go on my 7' beach umbrella and it works perfectly at keeping the bugs away. Very easy to put up on my own.

I accidentally bought the wrong size, and didn't realize it in time to return. I have used this 7 foot netting on a 9 ft umbrella (with some similar material to cover the gap) to see if it would work well enough to buy the 9 ft. It did, but also realized that I will probably have to buy something oversized for the umbrella as it sits inside an iron table & the correct size will probably be too tight for much moving around the table.It did work well against mosquitos and gnats for the time I tested it.

Just tried putting it on and the zipper broke off and it’s actually really small.

Where we live it’s something we won’t be without
