Tough Armor [Extreme Protection Tech] Designed for iPhone 13 Case (2021) - Black

These Spigen Tough Armor cases have become my default protection for any new iPhone for maybe a decade now. I have lost count of exactly how many that I’ve been through thus far, but I believe that this one makes number four or five. I’ve been totally satisfied with these cases for years and even tried other Spigen cases, but these are always the ones that I return to. I found that their “clear” cases still end up yellowing over time, albeit just a bit slower than most. Their Liquid Air case just doesn’t feel as tough, whereas these have multiple layers plus hard plastic in addition to the TPU. They also are stylish and don’t just look like you’re protecting your phone for battle! I really don’t have anything negative to say, but I will warn you to not abuse the kickstand. If you take care of this case, it will undoubtedly take care of you. My last phone even slipped out of my pocket hitting the nasty concrete restroom floor at a MLB ballpark; and although the Spigen glass screen protector (get one of those too!) took a hit, the case got a bit scratched, but it saved the phone! For $18, that’s a great value! The same goes for their glass screen protectors that go for around $19/two pack last time I purchased them. Moving on, there are so many great features specific to this case. For one, installing them usually takes only seconds. They fit like a glove and feel engineered particularly for the phone that you’re using. Even with the multiple layers that go into protecting your device, the Tough Armor case somehow doesn’t add excessive bulk or weight to your phone. It’s definitely tough, but as I mentioned before, they’re also stylish. This is because they’re cleanly designed, and use excellent combinations of both materials and color. I purchased the Navy Blue option for my iPhone 13 in “Midnight.” It’s actually my first non-red iPhone since probably the iPhone 4s, but the combo looks fantastic! Overall, if you need a tough and reliable case, just buy it, you really can’t go wrong! I’d also recommend getting Spigen’s glass screen protectors to go with as they are the easiest to apply in my opinion. They also have worked very well for me thus far. Finally, you should invest in glass protection for your camera lenses, but Spigen does not have a current offering for the iPhone 13. Just look for the kind that are round and goes over the lens itself as opposed to the large glass variety that covers the entire camera assembly. The latter easily break, but I’ve never had an issue with the glass covers that go over each lens. All together, you should not have to worry about breaking your phone! I’ve been going this route for about a decade and haven’t broke one yet!

I recently purchased the Spigen Tough Armor iPhone 13 case in Navy Blue, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and design. This case is a perfect blend of style and functionality. The navy blue color is sleek and adds a touch of sophistication to my iPhone 13. What truly stands out is the extreme protection it offers without compromising the phone's aesthetics. The Tough Armor case feels robust and durable, providing a secure grip and ensuring that my iPhone is well-protected from accidental drops and impacts. The precise cutouts make accessing ports and buttons a breeze, and the responsive tactile buttons maintain the phone's original responsiveness. The raised edges around the camera and screen add an extra layer of protection, giving me peace of mind. One feature that I particularly appreciate is the kickstand. It's a game-changer for watching videos or making video calls on the go. The convenience it adds to my daily life is unmatched. Overall, the Spigen Tough Armor case has exceeded my expectations. It not only provides extreme protection but also enhances the overall aesthetics of my iPhone 13. If you're looking for a reliable and stylish case that offers both durability and functionality, the Spigen Tough Armor is undoubtedly a top choice.

Now THIS is a good quality case. It was so easy to pop up but stays on sturdy! Glad the other reviews lead me to order it. It also has a little lip that does help with screen protection but I got a protector on it as well. The little hole in the back is cute if you have a different colored phone.

I have been a confirmed user of another much bulkier and more "grippy" brand of case for my phones over several generations but this time (for an iPhone 13) the price of the other brand had me shell-shocked. After quite a bit of searching I settled on the Spigen Tough Armor with some reservations: There is no cover for the Lightning port, there is no screen protector and the case *looked* less "grippy" than the other brand. Upon receipt of the case, all of my reservations were confirmed and I'm worried. I keep my phone in a chest pocket and I'm concerned that it will slip out when I bend over. I keep it on a bedside surface at night to charge and I worry that I'll brush against and it will fall to the floor and shatter. I worry that the lack of a rubberized grippy surface on the sides and back of the case will let it slip from my hands and fall to a hard surface. In short, I worry... ***The phone survived its first drop this AM,*** but I was worried. ***Nothing bad has happened so far,*** but I worry.

It fits, looks great, protects the phone. Great!

My third Spigen Tough Armor and continues to be a great case for my iPhones. It’s lighter and slimmer than Otterbox and provides nearly as good protection against normal phone perils, including drops, scratches and dust. I haven’t had the need for a screen saver.

This was my second purchase of these phone covers. Previously for my old phone and I just had to get one again. I’ve dropped my phone on hard tile, marble, on the road… and my phone has never gotten damaged. For the screen I recommend a screen protector, but these covers do help mitigate corner cracks. The cover isn’t too bulky and has a nice feel to it. It’s pleasing to touch and soft to the fingers. The black looks sleek and the little stand on the back is very useful. It’s also easy to put on.

Sturdy

Good product

Last used the tough armour case about 5 years ago. This version feels sturdier, more durable, and has a really nice feel in the hand. Please spigen don’t ever discontinue the tough armour series, I’m recommending this to all my friends.

This is what exactly protecting case suppose to be - nicely done, good look and feel, does it work and inexpensive. It perfectly fits my phone holder in the car, it doesn't make phone look larger and bulkier.
