very useful to find out how much of a problem you have
I bought the meter recently and find it very useful. It is impossible to know what you are dealing with without a measurement device. It is very interesting to be able to have the meter plugged in and turn various lights, motors, computers, etc on and off to see how they affect the electricity on the wires of the house. After finding that out, it is good that there are filters by Stetzer and Greenwave that are clearly able to dramatically reduce the problem. The meter helps you to realize how bad certain devices are so you can decide if you even want to use them anymore. Turning on some 4 foot long florescent lights made the most dramatic affect of the items I tested in our house.

Good product; it is everything that it is supposed ...
Good product; it is everything that it is supposed to be for testing for dirty electricity. I used it and it measured my circuits and I was able to fix problems with filters from the same company. I will be purchasing more filters. Friends are using it right now and finding that they are living in huge fields of dirty electricity generated from the neighbors solar system inverters. Then they went to the fathers house and the solar inverter fields were so bad that they maxed out the meter display. Yet, at my house with no solar systems nearby, the dirty electricity readings are relatively low.

Easy to use
Super easy to use. I wish there was a way to determine the source(s) of dirty electricity and also the level of danger from dirty electricity. In some cases the source is obvious by turning something on and off.

An Important First Step Before Even Buying Filters
I dragged my feet on this purchase for a long time because to outfit a home with the average 20 GS filters would seam cost prohibitive at a glance. And I was still stretching even my limits of belief. But since my past Environmental Medicine Doctor suggested this system last year to help with some of my chronic health issues, I finally got around to at least buy the meter to give it a chance. I watched the youtube video from Stetzer and felt the case was solid enough to at least do the measurements - not necessarily buy the filters themselves yet. What I found was amazing. And I was able to make some decisions that didn't involve actual filters in my first "phase" of remediation.A few things I did already was replace all the spiral compact fluorescent light bulbs with LED. So that the ballast wouldn't be a factor. I also had replaced all dimmer switches with straight flip-switches. If you hold your head next to a dimmer, you will hear it humming. What the meter showed me was that every computer in my house was producing at LEAST 400 GS units (9600 volts per second). One computer I own, an HP Compaq slim form-factor produces 1800 GS units (43,200 volts per second). This one computer, when on, was ALSO causing 1800 GS units to show up in the master bedroom. I was confused at first because they are on separate circuits. Some investigation revealed that the two circuits had romex that was stapled in parallel under the first floor joists. It was at this moment that I started shutting computers off more often and especially at night. I started sleeping better right away. I don't usually remember my dreams and I was diagnosed with central sleep apnea (a neurological cause for breathing to stop in the middle of the night). And now my plan is to install a filter every month into bedrooms first, followed by other areas of the house. The most important thing I need to decide is whether or not I will replace that desktop computer. It's obvious it's power supply is not a precision piece of equipment. Other computers in the house I had built have larger power supplies and they cause much less voltage transients. The still produce a lot, but using the meter at work revealed that it was no more than those (a good average). At any rate, I have resolved to keep all computers off when not in use. The WIFI is also scheduled to go off during sleeping hours. All devices that can be connected to ethernet do not have WIFI on. Obviously RF is beyond the scope of dirty electricity, but in my overall EMF picture, I believe it is part of the strategy to regain optimum health. So the moral is you can get results with the knowledge without buying the filters right away. The meter provides transparency to where the issues are coming from so you can make informed choices on how to use electricity in your home.

it seems like a scam
it seems like a scam. Yeah it's measuring something ... but ... I'm not sure all these things they say are happening or will happen are happening. I have changed from CFL's to LED's in my house not because of the filter readings but because it caused my electric bill to go down almost immediately. [My electric bill is half since I moved a %age which is because of LED lights]. the numbers have come down but I'm not going to buy a bunch of Stetzerizer filters to take up all my power outlets.

"Dirty electricity" gone!!!
i highly recommend Filter EMF! Owner Robert told me how to easily use the Stetzerizer microsurgery meter correctly to measure the amount of dirty electricity coming into my home, and provided solid answers as to why it would be there. He then advised me on how many Stetzerizer filters I'd need to correct the problem. He then coached me over the phone in the simple installation process. It's thrilling to watch the numbers plummet to safe levels! I'm looking forward to feeling more energy and having less headaches.Robert is accessible, informative, and has a range of knowledge about how to safely live within this soup of EMFs. I now have a safety pad for under my laptop from FilterEMF, and look forward to purchasing more from this store, which is filled with the practical items. Friends are already asking for the website.

Is it a scam, who knows?
I read about dirty electricity, so I bought some filters from another company (cheaper), and this meter. The meter works, but I don't know what it means, really. I asked an electrical engineer who said she had never heard of dirty electricity. Is it a scam? I dunno. Maybe. Maybe not. The meter does seem to work though, so that's something. And the filters work too. But to what effect? There's a researcher in Canada who says dirty electricity poses a health hazard, but I couldn't find anyone else who is doing similar research, so I'm not sure what to think.Three stars because the meter works, but I took off two stars because I don't know if it's a scam or not.

Reduces Dirty Electricity to Acceptablee Levels
I had very high levels of dirty electricity which is harmful to your health. A Stetzer meter reading of over 50 is to high. Mine read as high as 595. They are now in the low forties. Buy a meter and filter to see which outlets need a filter. Several of my outlets did not need a filter. Good price and fast delivery from this seller.
