Great product (if you know what you're doing).
I knew that when I purchased this I would need to fiddle with the circuitry (as I did a little research before hand) - just feed the power straight into it, bypassing any circuitry in the existing fixture.Works perfectly and emits a bright white light. Very happy with it.

take care that it will fit your unit
I can't review the use of the bulb since it would not fit in my fitting. Make sure you have flat access to the socket and the ballast unit doesn't obstruct access to the socket. Also, you need to disconnect the ballast unit and wire the socket directly to the mains.It looks exactly as it does in the photo. A photo of the underside would be useful. I will update this if I find a solution.
