Man, when you got a fish on and you get it into the boat, the last thing I think of is "you know I wanna measure this in kg just so later I can actually figure out the weight of this fish" I wanna know the the poundage of the beast I just caught is (you know it would be a solid 1.2lb!) so if you want a quick and easy scale to use that is not only build well, but is fast responding and accurate. This is your scale. Love the fact it is fairly small too where i can fit it in my pocket.

doesn't provide realtime reading, it's like a digital bathroom scale that takes a measurement then locks the readout. this is fine for some applications but not for weighing something that is deliberately changing

Ok, the darn little thing just plain works and at this cost, it's a huge benefit to have around the lab. We tested in on a range of calibrated weights and were pleasantly surprised to find it accurate to 2 digits in most cases and extremely repeatable. You have to mess around a little with the display units, but that's a minor gripe considering the price and compactness of the unit.Still going strong after a few months of fairly active usage. I'd definitely buy this one again.

Well made and very accurate up to its listed maximum capacity of 11.5 pounds. The scale is digital and increments in .01 of a pound so do not expect ounces unless you get out your calculator. NB Although this item is from the USA, their pounds are the same as UK pounds (unlike hundredweights or tons which are different)

Works as expected, easy to use and read. I liked it and later bought the model SR-20 as well.
