A+++++! Tested to make coffee at home…
…before we take it camping next week. Bail held firm, and this makes a nice small bento to store hot meals in when put into an insulated bag. I am most satisfied with this cookpot/tiffin, and the cost is very reasonable.I had a problem with delivery which the seller promptly corrected so I look forward to doing business with this amazon store again in the future.

Best there is!!!
Always wanted this kind of pot for my camp kit! Watched a lot of videos of different types and sizes! Liked the features of the Billy Pot! Was not disappointed! The quality of this is amazing! So well made, so well thought out! Very versatile adding more cooking options to my outdoor cooking experience! Highly recommend!! There are many others , but I don’t think they match the quality of the Billy Pot!

This is the pot you're looking for...
Simple and rugged. It is legal to smoke this pot in all 50 (U.S.) states. Useful for so many things, and especially handy if you're stranded on a desert island. Also great for a compact recreational camping setup. This is some good pot!

Genuine.
This is the real deal, stampings say Thailand. It’s a great quality product that should last a lifetime. I’m talking mine kayak camping along with the Kelley kettle.

Worth it
The 12 cm is the perfect bush pot for one person. It's small enough to hike with but to the people that count grams it might not be your cup of instant coffee. I think it's perfect. Great for any solo trip I go on. 16cm is great for 2 or more people and good for boiling water. Day trips or car camping.

Some points others missed...
1. The locking handle is very strong and durable, i have no fears about this zebra pot handle breaking under heavy use. However there is a reason Firebox videos rarely show the handle being disengaged... thats because its a total fingertip bruising, and finger pinching ordeal! A major pain in the butt and nay impossible if you need to disengage the handle while its super hot and/ or full of food. Unless you wear heavy duty leather gloves while cooking, then if would likely be easy to disengage the handle, but still messy. For this reason I try not to ever use the handle in the upright position. To be clear, its super easy to disengage the handle when the lid is also on the pot, the difficulty arises only when locking the handle upright WITHOUT the lid also on.2. Cooking with the handle down means it will get super hot. Thus I always use a chopstick or tree branch to act as a lever wedged under the clip and handle to elevate the handle away from the heat source. (Picture included)3. The tighness of the handle is not a flaw, rather its the reason this is a high quality product, but it is something to keep in mind and it does affect its usefullness as a bushcraft item. I love that this pot can also be suspended over a fire. It is very, very well made.4. I drilled holes in the upper inner pot to act as a steamer/ colander function. The customization does work but not as efficiently as i had hoped because that upper inner pot is such a super perfect fit, that it can be challenging to remove it from the bigger pan when they are both very hot and full of food. Water won’t drain in an efficient and clean manner either.5. That being said, I highly recommend this product. Its so very functional in all its parts and the passion and dedication you can clearly see in any Firebox video is just one more good reason to get this pot. I currently own 1 in each size and plan to get more because they are good for the kitchen as well as bushcrafting.6. These Zebra pots are good in the home kitchen because they have a much smaller footprint than other pots of the same capacity, also the handles dont jut up because there are no ungainly knobs. ( of course you cant lift the lid without a pot gripper or swiss army knife though) everything stacks into a nice tidy package. If you found this review helpfull, please press that helpful button to say thanks.

excellent for camp cooking
I bought this because I love the locking bail handle design. This pot works wonderfully for boiling water, making stews, and you can use it for baking, as well. This works great for bush crafting, as the handle is long, thick and sturdy--making it perfect for pot hangers.

Get this!!
I can not say enough good things about this piece of gear. I have used this pot for almost a year now and I’m very happy with it. I’ve done everything from boiling water in it to baking a pork loin in it. It’s perfect. It’s just right for pack and very sturdy. I highly recommend this pot!! I love it!!

Good pot.
Great pot easy to clean. Only thing I would change is the clips for the lid could be easier to remove.
