Wow! My Grandkids Like Science!
I like having toys at the house for when my grandkids come to visit. And I like these toys to be somewhat ‘educational’ without seeming to be…if you get my drift. That’s why this science set by Play Monster caught my attention. Now we all know that ‘gross’ things are just part of nature…even though we don’t like to talk about. But the kids certainly do. I hears references to ‘farts’ and ‘puke’. And ‘poop’ all the time from my grandkids. And this science set actually makes them learn something from all of that. The experiments demonstrate basic science principles using the guise of fabricating all those aforementioned gross stuff. The grandkids have made poop…vomit…and even farts from what’s included in this set and have leaned about the properties of gases and liquids and solids in the process. I know it all sounds really weird, but I can attest to the fact that my grandkids did learn something from all of this….something actually useful. The set includes pretty much all you need to perform the experiments. The only thing missing is like containers to do the experiments in. The instructions are clear and concise so kids can read and understand what to do. And most of the ‘ingredients’ used are common household products like corn starch and gelatin, so you can refill them as need be.I’m glad I got this set for my grandkids. It may not be the most ‘attractive’ toy they have in Grandpa’s Toy Box, but at least they’re learning something. I highly recommend it.

Messy yet entertaining
It was a great gift and the children enjoyed it. Be prepared; it’s pretty messy. For younger children a parent must supervise as it does contain multiple items that is not easy to clean up.

Does require a little help with the lower end range but so much fun!
I want to give this the highest marks that I can as it is a great little kid. I have two kids turning eight and of course anytime you talk about poop and vomit It's all giggles. They definitely needed my help with some of these experiments, but this is a great snowy and rainy day stuck in the house kit.The instructions are clear and he's going to read and you do have to add some of your own things, but they're really just things you generally have around your house, common household ingredients. Ingredients. It can get a little bit messy so we do this over a tablecloth or a plastic tray. But it's really created some fun! At their age. They do need me to be the moderator because they're not quite familiar enough with measuring or anything like that. Although we are working on it. Passive science and math is wonderful! I think I will be purchasing this for gifts at birthday parties. It's that much fun!

Cool concept but you need more supplies
I was kind of wanting something where everything was included and ready for mixing. Requires a few ingredients that most don’t just have lying around

Gross fun
What a great gift for young boys. With this kit, kids can create some really gross science experiments - worms, brains, eyes. Perfect for kids who like funny and gross things. The kit is a great way to get in some hands-on science time while still having fun together.

How fun and ‘oddly’ satisfying, as my twins put it 😂!
This is a really great set of messy, yet fun experiments, that awaken the crazy, lil’ scientist in every child. There’s been no boredom here, and everything is understandable to my kids, and they love the grossness of some of the experiments, while it invigorates and awakens their tactile senses, through touch. ‘Oddly satisfying’ is how it got across to me 😆.I like that everything is included in the set, and there are no other ingriednts I needed or need to run out and buy. I’ve been down that road before. This will keep mini scientists busy for hours. It’s a definite winner with my 11 year old twins girls! Slimy gross stuff, poopoo.. they love it all and then some. Guess maybe they might be getting a wee bit of knowledge mixed in there to, however, I hear lots of laughter.Value-fun-holding interest-giftability- and ok, even some ‘satisfaction’, almost a form of ASMR to my girls =‘s a perfect, 5 star review here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I hope that my review has been helpful :).

Could Have Been Much Better
The measurements on a cup were hard to read. Many supplies had to be provided. There were experiments we couldn’t do, because, for example, we needed, but don’t have straws. The missing supplies are very inexpensive and should have been included with the kit.Our grandson was very excited about doing these experiments until he realized he couldn’t do them all.If extra items are needed, it would make sense to send a list to people about what they need to have on hand beforehand. That would avoid a lot of disappointment.
