What is the back belt like? Tie, button, or fixed?

I adjusted it by folding over the flap and placing the far button into the hole that makes it more fitted. You can then pin the extra portion of the flap. Another way of explaining it: There are two buttons and two button holes. Fit the button into the hole furthest from it to make it cinch in.

What are the front pocket dimensions?

Sorry, this particular lab coat was given as a graduation gift and I am unable to share info with you about the pockets. The pockets on mine are 6.75 inches wide X 7.5 inches long. Mine is same brand lab coat---just an older model.
