One of the best work/gaming ultrawide monitors out there
When it comes to 38" monitors, there are very few companies on the market that offer it. And even then, it is hard to find specs that are good for 2024. However the 38WR85QC does it all; gaming or work. The number of ports is perfect, ethernet connectivity, in-built KVM, PiP/PbP modes, resolution and refresh rate, nano-IPS display and so forth. Did not regret getting this.

Easy to set up, good quality display. Sound quality poor so you will need speakers & camera.

The perfect monitor
This monitor is an elegant productivity beast, with a built-in KVM and an impressive screen real estate - which replaces my previous dual monitor setup. On the other hand, it also allows you to comfortably play games with nice refresh rates, making it the perfect mixed-use monitor.

Cannot get ultrawide running with Windows 11
Monitor looks fine and should a good product but there is a massive problem as on Windows 11 Pro I have found it impossible to get the resolution and aspect ratio running correctly despite installing most recent driver etc and getting some formal IT support. So the ultrawide part is defunct at the moment and I have 3 inches of black at either side of the screen - pretty hopeless

Laptop graphics card couldn't handle it
Probably an excellent monitor but my laptop graphics card couldn't offer the optimal resolution, so using it gave me eye strain and headaches.

Love my LG ultrawide monitor
I am really happy I took the plunge and got this monitor! It's sturdy, easy to use and so worth getting the widest screen size. I always have loads of tabs on-the-go so the monitor makes your head feel less cluttered, increasing productivity.I did a lot of research on various monitors before deciding this was the best fit for me and most cost-effective (wait till there's an offer or discount). I'm happy I went with LG as it fits with my LG Gram 17 laptop too.The only downside is that the white version was not available on Amazon, in fact I think it would have to be shipped from the US, so I was a bit unhappy with the darkness and drabness of the black design (others may call that sleek). As you can see in the pic I have feminised it up with pink trailing hearts lol:)The thick black pole at the back is also not the most beautiful thing, but my plant pot happens to fit perfectly on top and looks pretty cute.I hope this review is useful for y'all since there was no written review when I bought it. I can highly recommend it
