Review: Applicable for 2nd grade classroom - Using this for my 2nd grade students right now. So far it has been a great launching point for discussions in our classroom about focus, organization, tools to help us stay on track and be successful. I like that there is a blend of learning with application practice for skills via worksheets. Review: Kid friendly! - Love this book. Kid friendly. Using it with a student I tutor

Great content. My kids didnโt like it.
I purchased the Executive Functioning Workbook for my kids at the beginning of the summer to help them build their executive functioning skills. Each day, I read a chapter to them, and we would discuss it together. The book has great content and provides valuable guidance, but it just didnโt hold the attention of my 11-year-old and gifted 9-year-old. My son even commented that the term โexecutive functioning skillsโ sounded weird and intimidating. I think the title alone might turn some kids off, even though the material is very important. While it didnโt quite connect with my children, I still think itโs a well-done resource and would recommend it for families whose kids might be more open to the topic.

Great Support for Improving Decision Making in Kids
This book has been really helpful in being able to explain concepts and go through exercises with my 8 year old. Would recommend it for anyone looking to support their child in improving their executive function skills.

Maybe for You, but not for me
I got this book at the behest of a school administrator as something to work on over uh summer. I appreciate the activities but they are much more involved than I thought they would be for my 6 year old. Many of the tasks align with something for a little bit of an older child, say 8 or older. I wish it was clear as to the age and I would have loved smaller micro activities. I am not one to hold on to things so Iโll be returning.

Great
Good book - great little exercises for kids who struggle with executive functioning. I like how it breaks it up into sections for school and home. Skews little young but was still helpful for my 6th grader.

Great Book.
Great read and lots of information for people wanting to understand and learn more about Executive Functioning issues. Along with tools to counteract EF obstacles.

Interesting info but
This book has interesting info for parents and children. It seems to be a book you read with your children and try out the strategies as a team (to support and better understand what the ADHDer is going through) and not a โworkbookโ that children/teenagers read and use on their own.

Maybe for teens but not younger kids
Workbooks aren't for kids. They aren't going to read this and diligently read/write. It may give parents/caregivers some ideas but kids aren't doing workbooks. Maybe teens will but not younger.
