Excellent heavy duty construction. It has a substantial heft to it, which you need for this type of safety gear.. The edging material is a nylon/polyester weave. It is sewn evenly all around the edge. Unlike some other similar products in reviews,, this winch damper, definitely will last for years. The thick material, and heavy duty Velcro on it will keep it in place during use! The Heavy Duty Velcro used in it's construction will keep the cable from likely slipping or being flung if the cable was to ever snap. If you read similar reviews for some competing products(Amazon), you realize that they are inferior on almost every level, at prices just a few dollars less. Buy this or the 1 from down-under if you want a product that will really perform when you need it most. The WARN is just a few dollars cheaper at compellable quality and construction. Safety is not something to cut corners with.This WARN model falls in the middle price wise of those competing competitors products(China/Australia), but is at the upper end in quality features and construction.

High quality as expected from Warn. Will use it whenever a recovery strap is in use. Safety is always the priority.

Exactly as pictures. Good quality, despite the "Made in China" tag which I promptly removed. Made out of a durable material that seems like it'll hold up for a long time. Inside has velcro to make sure it stays on the winch, and there are pockets inside to add additional weight. I hope I never have to edit this to review its performance in case of a cable failure, but I'm confident that it'll get the job done.

Top quality, heavy duty material should last a long time. Good sized pockets for added weight. A must have towing accessory.

The Warn damper is well constructed and appears to be made of top quality materials. It is quite a heavy duty. It is also attractive. There are pouches on the inside as well. Time will tell, but I have no doubts on the quality.What I am disgusted with, however, is outsourcing manufacturing to China, and still commanding the made in USA price. A portion of that savings needs to be passed on to the customer. So yes, Warn, I am calling you out.

Pretty basic product at a good price. Don't think this is only for use in case your cable breaks. If you are using your winch to pull something into or out of the bed of a pickup, the straps or cable can slip and become a danger. I had my straps slip and the damper slowed the cable and prevented any injuries. Worth the price, nicely made and recommended.

I've used this a couple times while winching. Safety is sometimes not exercised enough when the comfort level gets to high. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a winch.
