Excellent
This portable power station is a game-changer for anyone who needs reliable and convenient access to power on the go. It's incredibly versatile and can power a wide range of tools and devices, from power tools to phones and laptops. One of the things that I appreciate most about this power station is its portability. It's lightweight and easy to carry, making it a great option for anyone who needs to work on the go or in remote locations. The fact that it's tool only means that it's compatible with any DEWALT FLEXVOLT battery, which makes it a highly versatile piece of equipment. The power station is also incredibly easy to use. It has a clear and intuitive display that shows the remaining battery life, and the power switch is simple to operate. The build quality is excellent, and the product feels sturdy and well-made. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with the DEWALT FLEXVOLT Power Station. It's a must-have for anyone who needs access to reliable and portable power, whether you're a professional tradesperson or someone who enjoys DIY projects. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high-quality, versatile, and reliable power station

The best investment for your small construction company.
I bought this because I have a small business and I seen that someone else wrote a review that has the same type of small business as I have, and read a review on here that was the desiding factor that ultimately made the decision of me buying this product or not. This Dewalt power station has exceeded my expectations of wither or not it would work for what I do or not. It is one of the best investimate I have made for my company to this date, and helps me run more efficiently when I am doing multiple homes in one neighborhood as well as saves time and energy from rolling up a cord over and over again when I am moving down the road from house to house. I bought this Power station to run my 6 inch gutter machine with hopes it would save me time from moving home to home as I have described in this review, and it has done that and It has out done my expectations and it continues to impress me with what it is. I love the fact that it runs off my Dewalt 20 volt batteries and it is also a charger for them if I need to charge my batteries. I am considering buying one for each of my trucks with gutter machines because they are quiet, and it is very nice to not have to run the loud generator when working. In the other review the customer mentioned running a miter saw for downspouts afterwards and I have to agree, it did as he mentioned and even more, I ran my helpers milwalkee 18 volt battery charger while I used the Dewalt power station to run the gutter machine and it ran flawlessly as well as charged his 18 volt battery. I use the Dewalt power station with four 60 volt batteries as I am trying to get the most out of the product so I know my limits and it runs flawlessly every time. If i could give it more stars I would. I hope someone looking into buying one of these power stations finds this review helpful.

Good charging station daily, great backup when you need it
Overall a great product. I use it every day to charge both 20v and 60v batteries. It clips to the top of a tough systems box. In my garage I have it clipped to the ToughSystem drawer unit (not a 5 star product). The family likes it because they can always find a charged battery for the vac, leaf blower, string trimmer, etc. It charges all the batteries at the same time. Not particularly fast, but fast enough. Last week the power went out and I hooked my refrigerator up and ran it for about 3 hours. Ice maker made some extra ice. I had mixed batteries on the unit (the one that ran out first was 4 AH). Took the two lowest batteries off and replaced with some 3AH batteries that were on tools nearby. I then plugged the fridge back into the wall (assuming the power would come on before morning) and brought the power station into my room where I plugged my CPAP machine into it. It ran all night on the power left. Obviously it makes no noise, produces no fumes and is prefect for that application. My CPAP machine specifies it will work on a modified sine wave so I was very happy. The Dewalt doesn't produce a pure sine wave, but there is only one tool I own that it makes a difference. Strangely my Fein vac freaks out when plugged into it (guessing it the auto start and variable speed suction electronics). Every other tool I've tried including compressor, drills, routers, table saw, sander, etc. all work. Obviously my fridge and CPAP machine work just fine.

Really great tool
First of all, unlike most other reviewers, I am just a regular homeowner. Some people might think this has no use for homeowners... But actually, at least for me, this is a great tool. The biggest problem I have with my house is the sump pump. Every once in a while, power goes out. That usually happens when there is a hurricane or something. When that happens, I have to bring out my generator in the rain. If that is during the night, oh well... And sometimes, my generator does not start. When I experienced that in the rain, at 3am, and the water pit was about to overflow, it felt really AMAZING. I could do nothing but laugh. (My whole family had to take out the water using buckets) Then, I heard Dewalt released this. I use Dewalt tools, so I have couple batteries, so I could just buy a bare tool. So far, I really like it. I haven't tested until it died, but with my 2 6Ah and 2 4Ah batteries, it ran my sump pump for few hours. Now, I don't have to go out and fight with my generator in the rain. I can just use this as a 4 battery parallel charger, and use when the power goes out. Really convenient. Initial price with batteries would be bit steep, but I think it's worth. This has something for everybody. Added on Sep. 12 2018 It's still running strong. This saved me during few power outages. Although I occasionally used this for portable power, I mainly used this for sump pump while the power is out. For more info, my sump pump is 1/2 HP Superior Pump 92572. According to manufacturer, this uses 24.5 amp to start and 4.1 amp to run. With 4 4Ah batteries, this kept my sump pump running for 6 hours, with pump engaging in every 1~2 min. So far, really satisfied.

Almost perfect
Update: i guess i should really read instructions when I get new tools. This device needs every battery slot filled with at least a Dewalt 20v battery or a flex volt battery. I thought I could know how to use a charger without reading the one page instruction page. Lesson learned the hard way ๐คญ. So, I have some tools at home and I wanted a generator for light loads or emergency loads. I have a few big Dewalt batteries for my Dewalt line up, and this looked like an addition that I could use with my battery collection of flex volt batteries and older 20v batteries. I wanted to be able to use this in the case of a power outage lasting longer than an hour for my fridge. Positive: 1 power button Roll cage Looking (hopefully provides durability) Works with Gen 1 dewalt portable tool cases. Can charge multiple batteries Individual battery charging status Cons: Open system to collect dust inside unit (canโt see it in pictures) Seems delicate (despite elongated frame) Does not offer rapid charge on any battery slot Test 1- can it charge multiple batteries (yes) slowly It has the rapid charger color but does not charge rapidly.. Test 2- took camping with me and used it to inflate a mattress (donโt judge, I have back issues) worked fine Con- does not come with a power cord for external connection/ charging. Test 3 - new camping trip almost went belly up because now I had more confidence in the unit to trust it to do the inflatable mattress and also charge my cell phones for a 5 day trip. ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ Put it next to the mattress under different battery type combinations on top to just turn on (no reaction) will not turn on. Does not work!!! Just outside the 30 purchase date so seller wonโt take back. Dewalt is hard to get a hold of for their 90 day money back so now I have to wait on them to get back to meโฆ I wished it worked and maybe this is a one off. Will replace and update. I hoped to use this for tailgating/ loud music/ camping/ and some tool use. =CON: need 4 batteries for the output power to work. Will not work with less slots used What would make it perfect is if it worked with a pair of two flexvolt batteries for power out. Or even better; just one ๐ Would also like USB outputs but now I think I just want it all

Works great
Works great for powering tools on the jobsite. Really depends on what batteries you have though on how long it will last. Also works to run cooking devices for on the go food making.

Works well to make my corded tools more verdatile
Love this thing as it makes my corded tools more versatile. It will run my dewalt miter saw. Will run my corded appliances and if the batteries die I have a second set. It charges 4 batteries at a time if plugged into a wall outlet. I plugged it into a 400 watt inverter and it would only charge 3 batteries at a time. Will get a larger inverter and try it. I can use it as a portable power supply for most things. It is not true sine wave. You can only charge batteries or use as a power station but not both simultaneously. Things I wish it had were USB ports and a 12 volt input for charging. All in all this is a nice power station especially if you already have dewalt tools.

Dependable
Works as advertised and I use this to run water pumps to pump out holes where I'm repairing leaks on irrigation systems, main water lines, and the such. Works great, no noise, offers plenty of electricity with the 60/20v batteries. Best part is, when you're done, just plug into an outlet to recharge the batteries. Works with all Dewalt 20v and 60/20v batteries. I Also plan to use this for quiet campouts with my boys for scouts for lights, phone recharge, or even a laptop or coffee maker. This is my second one and works with the various assortment of Dewalt batteries I keep in my truck for work.
