Bioethanol Fuel - Bio Ethanol Tabletop Fire Pit - 96% Purity

Last a while. No smells. Heat is amazing. Warms the whole house. Buy these everytime

I’ve tried quite a few different fuels for my Trangia over the years, but this Green Haven Bioethanol is easily the best I've used. It is incredibly clean-burning; I’ve noticed significantly less soot on my pans compared to standard methylated spirits, which makes the pack-up and clean-up much easier. There’s no nasty chemical smell either, which is a huge plus when you’re out in the fresh air. It lights easily, burns hot and steady, and the 2L bottles are a great size for stocking up before a trip. If you’re looking for a premium, clean-burning alternative to the usual purple stuff, I can’t recommend this enough.

This product is great. It burns really warm, and for us, a third of a bottle will burn for well over an hour and provide a lovely warmth within our 4x6m living room. The flame takes a few minutes to turn from blue to the typical mesmerising amber flame. The bottle has a cap with a small hole for dispencing the liquid directly on to the rock wool. The first time from opening, I would still use a funnel for a better angle, but you can apply directly after that. It does have a slightly stronger than mild odour to it, but this can be overlooked. Overall, great value for money

Very god, less smell & seems to burn longer than my previous brand.

Backstory: When I bought GREEN HAVEN Premium Bioethanol Fuel, I had one goal: to make my fire pit the crown jewel of cozy evenings. No smoke, no fuss, just clean-burning flames for s’mores and stargazing. It turns out, this bioethanol fuel delivers exactly that—no drama, no eyebrow-singeing surprises, just a reliable way to bring some heat to your nights. The Encounter: Setting it up was almost suspiciously easy. Pour the fuel into the fire pit or fireplace, light it, and voilà—instant ambiance. The flames were clean, steady, and surprisingly warm for something that burns without smoke or soot. Within minutes, my garden went from “meh” to “outdoor retreat” status. Even the dog approved, settling down next to the fire like a scene from a cozy postcard. And since it’s odorless, I didn’t have to worry about smelling like a campfire afterward—a definite win. Review: Pros: 1. Clean and Odorless Flames: No smoke, no soot, and no smell—just a pure, clean-burning fire that’s perfect for indoor or outdoor use. 2. Easy to Use: The straightforward process makes it perfect for anyone, even if you’re not exactly a fire-building pro. 3. Versatile: Works with fire pits, fireplaces, and even tabletop burners, making it great for cozy nights or fancy entertaining. 4. Eco-Friendly: Made from renewable bioethanol, it’s a greener way to enjoy a fire without feeling guilty about the planet. 5. Perfect Flame Control: The flames are bright and steady, creating a warm and inviting glow without being overwhelming. Cons: 1. Costs Add Up: While it’s high-quality and burns efficiently, frequent use might stretch your budget if you’re a fire enthusiast. 2. Not for Long Burns: It’s great for an evening’s ambiance, but you’ll need to top it up if you’re planning a marathon session by the fire. 3. Requires a Bit of Precision: Pour carefully to avoid spills, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a breeze. Unexpected Highlights: I used the fuel for a tabletop fireplace during a dinner party, and the flames were the star of the evening. Guests kept commenting on how clean and elegant it looked, with no smoky haze clouding the air. Later, I tried it in my outdoor fire pit for a quieter night. The steady flames made the perfect backdrop for marshmallow roasting, and even the dog got a mini marshmallow (after a stern “sit”). Final Thoughts: The GREEN HAVEN 2L Premium Bioethanol Fuel is everything it promises to be—clean, easy, and eco-friendly. Whether you’re hosting a garden party, cozying up indoors, or just looking for a way to elevate your fire game, this fuel delivers. It’s perfect for anyone who loves the warmth of a fire but doesn’t want the mess or smell of traditional fuel. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. 9/10—for simplicity, style, and clean-burning flames that make every evening feel special. Bonus tip: Pair it with some comfy seating, good company, and maybe a hot drink for the ultimate cozy night.

Arrived on time, works well in burner but only really smells when it burns out.

I'm new to using bioethanol and this is the first brand I've used but on opening it has an awful smell and by the time I've finished pouring can feel myself holding my breath and trying not to gag having to step aside and let someone else pour, partner also thinks it has a really strong smell. Whilst burning it's fine and you can't smell it, but when I go out into the fresh air and come back into the house I can smell it. I but 1.5 litres in the fire last night had it on for three hours 8pm til 11pm, closed it off went to use today and had to refill over another litre and I thought you got about 8 hours to 1 litre? Safe to say this will probably be used by the end of next week. May use another brand next week to compare as I say I am new to using bioethanol fuel

Used for my table heater
